20 minutes and an aching smile later we pulled up in front of a cosy little house after we had dropped Skip and James off. We all hopped out of the car and stretched our cramped legs.

"Jai you idiot, you've made the seats wet," Beau bellowed.

"Why are you wet?"

"I fell in the yarra," Jai replied with a smirk

"You fell? Then why is your girlfriend wet as well?" Luke snickered.

"She dove in to save me." I punched his arm, hard.

"Ow, what was that for," he whined. "It was all his idea," I said pointing to Jai, when Beau raised his eyebrows at me and winked.

"Ok maybe it was, but it was worth it," he said smiling down at me. I grinned, my teeth chattering.

"You must be cold," Jai put his arm around me and walked inside, ignoring the wolf whistles of Beau and Luke behind us.

I felt warmer once Jai lent me a pair of his baggy trackpants and a sweatshirt. They even smelt like him.

"Movie time," Beau sang, his voice echoing around the house.

"Not titanic again, you'll cry like a bitch,"Luke groaned.

"I do not cry you dickhead," Beau snapped.

"Ooh getting all defesive huh?" Luke snickered.

"Just shut up," Beau dived headfirst into Luke and pulled him into a headlock.

I stifled a laugh and ran a hand through my damp wavy hair, the river scene kept popping up in my head and I couldn't help thinking that maybe I should've kissed Jai after all. Relaxing on thier big sofa, I leaned my head back and wrapped my arms around my legs.

Jai emerged out of the bathroom and went straight in for Beau, trying to pry his arms off Luke.

"Just start it already, Julia's getting bored," Luke staggered off the couch and slipped the disc into the DVD player, watching it as it hummed to life.

Jai untangled himself from Beau and rolled over so he was sitting next to me, his coffee coloured hair, still damp from the shower, was turning into curls that flopped against his forhead. He caught me watching him and I quickly tuned my head to face the TV before he could see me blushing.

As the movie started, Jai slowly slid his hand over the top of the couch towards me, I smiled to myself and snuggled in his chest, leaning my head on his soft cotton shirt.

The movie was intense and romantic the whole way through, I coulnd't stop a few tears from slipping down my cheeks when Rose and Jack were  shivering in the water on that cold night, confessing their love for each other.

Beau had his face buried in his arms, so Luke was right after all, he did cry in Titanic, but I had to admit, it was cute. Luke had made an excuse to go to the kitchen to make more popcron, but I swear I could hear quiet sniffing from the direction of the kitchen.

Jai turned to me, and smiled as he wiped away my tears with his thumb.

There was no need for words as he brushed my hair away from my face and gently pressed his lips against mine. My eyes closed automatically and I let myself live in the moment, butterflies fluttering in my stomach as I rested my hand on his warm cheek and kissed him back

"I've always wanted to do that," I whispered asI pulled back smiling, leaning my forehead against his, gazing into his eyes.

"Me too, since I met you," he whispered back, leaning in again. This is how I imagined my first kiss to be like, with Jai Brooks.
