Lifesavers

Still dripping wet, I walked to Flinders Street Station, ignoring people that were giving me funny looks.

Who cares? I had had the time of my life with the one and only Jai Brooks, be jealous.

Reaching into my purse I pulled out my wallet and reached in the pocket to get my myki. My hands felt nothing.

No! I started to panic, dumped the contents of my purse on the floor.

People were staring at me while I scrabbled around the contents of my purse, making a puddle on the ground.

Shit, your such an idiot Julia. I didn't even have a dollar. Broke. A security guard walked over to me.

"You alright there miss?"

"I'm fine," I snapped, shoving my possessions back in my purse, wondering what to do next.

He backed away putting his hands up like he was retreating from a battle.

I glared at him, piss off. He got the message and walked off. I covered my head with my hands.

No money, sopping wet, stuck at a train station. I couldn't even call mum, she was probably in the middle of an 'important' meeting as usual. I begged myself not to cry as my eyes started to well up.

"You alright there babe?" I was about to tell the person what I really thought of them, but when I opened my eyes, Jai was staring back at me.

My body breathed a sigh of relief as he wrapped his arms around me. "I'm stuck," I managed to squeak out.

"Need a lift?"

"Your my lifesaver!"

"I was hoping I might be." I giggled and looked away, blushing. "Come on, the boys are waiting."

"You mean their all in the car?"

"Yeah, Beau's driving. Come on, we won't bite!" he laughed good naturally and took my hand, leading me away from the station.

"But Jai, I barely know you."

"Thats why I want to get to know you better." I couldn't stop the stupid grin from streching across my face.

A tan car pulled up in front of the station, I couldn't stop laughing when the rest of the Janoskians started waving and squishing their faces against the window at us.

"Stupid idiots," Jai laughed, wrenching the door open.

"Oii Jai boy, what have you got here?" Beau said eyeing me up and down playfully.

"Hands off, my property!" Jai hollered.

"Not a too bad choice my man," Skip joked, laughing hysterically as Jai tried to punch him.

"I'm driving you idiots! Keep it down back there!" Beau yelled.

Since there wasn't enough seats to fit all of us, I ended up sitting on Jai's lap, which wasn't such a bad place to be.

"Hey, I do remember you. Your the one Jai was checking out like the whole time," Luke piped up. "Faggot," Jai mumbled.

"What a cutie, he's blushing," James teased. "You are pretty cute Jai, I have to admit," I giggled. "Awwwwww," the boys said in unison, making me burst into laughter.

This had to be the best thing that ever happened to me.
