Same old games

I woke up, but I was in my own bed. Dusk was settling over my room. it was dark. I got up, my limbs were aching and felt heavy, and as I looked down, my ankles were weighed down by heavy chains. I fell to the floor, but there was no ground to stop me from falling."Julia," I heard Jai's voice yelling, and looked up to see his terror-stricken face, hands outstretched as if he were trying to grab me. But I kept falling. "Jai!" I screamed. I hit a cold concrete floor. She was there. Laughing. With a knife in her hand. "You'll never see him again, never!" she shrieked, her face was all I could see now, slowly approaching me, the knife raised.

Never.

Never.

Never.

The words echoed in my head.

"Jai!"

I woke up crying.

I had fallen off the bed and was in a knot of blankets that were twisted around me.

My body was shaking with sobs, terrified by the dream.

It wasn't real.

"Jai," I sobbed, crying as if my heart would break.

"Jai."

My head throbbed, and I could feel the sweat breaking out on my forehead.

I heard fast footsteps .

"Julia?"

He stood in the doorway looking bewildered as I reached my arms out to him.

He dropped to the ground and took me in his arms, rocking me gently like a baby as I shook wildly, terrified.

"She's coming," I cried.

"She had a knife."

I buried my head in his chest.

 "She was going to kill me."

"It was just a nightmare," he soothed.

"Its not real."

"Don't let her take me away Jai," I begged

His arms tightened around me.

"No-ones taking you away from me," he whispered in my ear.

"No-one, not ever."

I let out a sigh and let the last tear fall.

"I have to go back."

"Where?"

"To my home," the words escaped my mouth and I shuddered, the nightmare haunting my mind.

"Stay a while longer," he tucked loose strands of golden hair behind my ears and kissed me.

My heart raced like it always did when he kissed me.

"Your safe as long as I'm around."

Even Jai couldn't take the fear away forever. Or the pain.

I sat as close to him as possible.

It was dead quiet again.

Beau was the opposite of his usual fun, hyper self.

Its as if they could sense it.

The car pulled to a stop.

My hands started to shake as I pulled at the door of the car, it wouldn't open.

Jai' hand took mine and guided it to the door handle.

It opened easily.

I climbed out and froze in the driveway.

I couldn't do this.

Jai got out of the car and held out his arms.

I ran into them. Where nothing could every hurt or touch me. Where I was safe.

When I looked into his face, his eyes looked scared.

I stood on tip-toe and kissed him, lingering on his lips as he lent down and kissed me back, almost sadly.

I pulled away before I was stuck there forever.

I closed the door behind me and was once again stuck in a place where I couldn't escape.

I wanted to cry out to Jai as I heard the car back out the driveway and drive away.

Alone. Once again. 

I leapt onto my bed and buried myself under the covers where I fell fast asleep.

I heard the bedroom door open, in a daze I sat up, my head heavy from sleep.

I froze like a deer in the headlights as she stumbled into the room. I kept quiet but inside I was screaming.

I could smell wine in her breath. She had been drinking.

"Where've you been," she spluttered, her hands lashed out at the air.

"You didn't tell me."

"I'm sorry," I screamed as she hit me with the full force of her weight, knocking the breath out of me.

"You can't just leave this house!" she screamed, her fist coming into contact with my shoulder.

My eyes closed at the impact, it killed like crazy. My head was pounding and it wouldn't stop.

"Stop!" I screamed again, wrapping my arms around myself to protect my body.

"I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry."

With each word came another blow until she finally dragged herself out of my room, slamming the door behind her.

I was softly crying.

Their was a deep cut under my eye and I could feel a bruise staring to come up on my shoulder. 

I was hurting everywhere. I couldn't even move."

"Jai," I sobbed.

"I thought no-one was going to take me away, I thought I was safe with you."

I ran my fingers along the cut and when I looked at my hand, it was covered with blood.

I was scared.

"I thought..." my voice trailed off and I fell into a deep sleep.

Lie.

Heyy there guys!

Like, dislike, what? I actually hated writing this chapter cause I wrote it at night and it was kinda creepy :O Anyways for the next chapter I am still thinking, it won't go on for much longer i think. But don't stress, I have a new story in my mind except it isn't Janoskian related, sadly :(  How is Jai going to find out? How will Julia cope? Will her mom go all the way?
