Chapter 24: "Pizza Treat"

Dumiretso kami sa isang malapit na Pizza Diner na kilalang tambayan ng mga taga-SAU dahil kilala ito sa masarap na pizza at iba pang pagkain. I think were about fourteen, me, Dana, Luke, Greg and some of teammates plus the guy who invited himself to join us named, David.

We occupied two long tables combined at nagsimulang magkwentuhan ng mga naganap sa laban kanina habang hinihintay lumapit ang waiter. Nang makapit ang isang waiter na sa tingin ko ay part-timer dahil he just looked as same age as ours dinagsa sya ng sunod sunod na orders ng lahat kaya hindi malaman ng pobreng waiter kung ano ang uunahing isulat sa hawak na order form. At dahil may ginintuang puso ako, I stood up abruptly and held out my hands to silence them. Hmm, epektib dahil nagsitahimik ang mga nasa lamesa.

"Guys, to save us all from starving why don't we order that one." I told them while pointing at the Diner's poster near the cashier. It is picture of 4 humongous pizzas in different toppings, 4 platters of mojos and onion rings, 2 big plates of buffalo chicken wings and 5 pitchers of cola. Mukhang sang-ayon naman sila sa suggestion mo dahil nakita kong nagtanguan sila kaya hinarap ko na ang waiter, "We'll have that one on the poster, and an additional large serving of the house banana split for me."

Umalis na sya tapos naupo ako ulit at hinarap si Greg na mukhang hindi naman affected sa bill na babayaran nya. At dahil nakakabore maghintay ng order na hindi ko alam kung kailan maiseserve naisipan kong ayain sila na maglaro. "Let's play some games, guys."

Binigyan ako ng nagdududang tingin ng Luke. "Anong laro? If it will make me dance like some wacko then count me out." he said.

Tumawa ako ng tumataginting. My cousin knows me so well, "Truth or Dare."

"Okay, we'll play but no crazy dare okay. Or else..." sabi pa ni Luke.

I raised my hand to him sabay sabing, "Promise." Then I spin the bottle of ketchup in the middle of the table. We all eyed it as it came to stop. Dang! It's a guy named, Ben.

I laughed at nagtaka sila. Nagkibit balikat lang ako at, "Okay, Ben 10. Truth or dare?"

The whole table growled with laughter while he cringed from his new nickname. "Siraulo talaga itong si Janna. Don't call me that name again! Dare."

Dana spoke up, "Pwede ka bang mag-break dance? I saw you one time near the dance club, you're great."

Wow, I liked the suggestion. "You heard the beautiful lady here, Ben 10. Show us what you got!"

Tumayo sya at pumwesto sa medyo may kalakihang space sa gilid at nagsimulang mag-break dance. Dana is right, he is great! Pwede nang sumabak sa mga reality dance competition sa TV.

Nang matapos sya bumalik sya sa amin at naupo sa pwesto nya. I tapped his shoulder, "Angas mo naman, Ben 10!" Nagblushed sya pero sumimangot ng marealize nya kung anong pangalan ang itinawag ko sa kanya tapos pinaikot na ang bote.

Huminto ang dulo ng bote sa tapat ni Dana. Hindi ko mapigilang ngumiti ng pilya. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth." she said while smiling smugly. Nahulaan nya nang kung dare ang pinili nya bibigyan ko sya ng extreme na task.

A guy named, Harold asked her. "Did any guy from our school caught your fancy? I mean yung tipong papayagan mong idate ka?"

All the guys from the table seems to be anticipating Dana's answer. "Yes, there is one particular guy that I am crushing on right now and he is actually here too." tapos pinaikot ang bote.
