Saranghae, Dongsaeng Birthday Boy Maknae~ Minho

Minho~

Is it wrong of me to notice the way the light hits his face? Is it wrong of me to notice how young and angelic he is? He lays on the deck of the boat, his back to the sun and his face pointing at me. I smile and lean back in my chair. How does he sleep like that? 

The guys have already sent him their presents and messages, deciding that me and him should have some alone time while they promote new products. I want his 19th birthday to be special for him. My Maknae is going to be year older in a two days and he doesn't seem to really care. 'A birthday is just another day'. I decided not to get him one present. I got him many. Hopefully he'll like them. 

I get up and go inside. Walking by Taemin's room, I notice the Minho Bear sitting among his pillows. I wonder if he snuggles it.... "Minho?" Taemin rubs his eyes and pulls his shirt down as he walks down the hall. "How long did I sleep?" 

"Maybe six hours. Seven at the most." 

"Why didn't you wake me? I'd hate to spend seven hours alone!" 

"You're in need of good sleep." 

"What about you? Did you sleep at all?"

"Nah."

"What did you do while I was sleeping?" 

"Read books and this." I hold up the magazine. On the cover it says '2MIN'S DATE NIGHT! NEW PHOTOS SHAWOLS WILL WANT TO SEE!' Scarlet comes to his cheeks. 

"Are you... okay with that?" I grin. 

"Why wouldn't I be?" He smiles back. "It was the best date I've ever been on." 

"Me too." We walk into the common room on the ship. New magazines are stacked on the table. Most of them have 2Min on the cover. He sits in a bean bag chair and grabs on. " 'Taemin and Minho, the fabulous duo 2Min have been spotted on their first date. There have been no official comments but these pictures speak for themselves. We have pictures of a maybe kiss. More pictures inside.' " He looks up from the pages after reading the passage. "These reporters got good pictures. Very close up."

"Taemin in HD is sexy." He laughs. I love hearing that laugh. It's more than enough for me. "There's so many stories about us. Shawols are going nuts." 

"It's so strange."

"You don't mind do you?"

"It's nice to have us on center stage. I mean it's nice to be in the spotlight... with you." It's as if he's testing the water to see how I feel about that. 

"Seeing us together on the cover is something new. Maybe we should-" The phone rings. Taemin grabs it and answers. 

"Yes this is him." He pauses. "Okay. Sounds good. Thank you. Goodbye." He hangs up and lays back in the chair. "That was SM. They want me to do a birthday photo shoot." 

"Are you?" 

"I don't really have a choice. SM set it up as a birthday present. I get the cover and a five page spread." 

"That's great!"

"It means less time to spend together."

"Shoots take 2 hours at most. You're an amazing model, you get the money shot right away." 

"Come with me?" 

"Of course." 

"We have to go in an hour."

"Let's get ready. Maybe if you go early, you can leave early." 

"Good idea." He puts the magazine on the table and stands up. "Are you going to get ready?" I close my eyes.
