"God, why do I have to be late today?" I sort of scream and whisper, running to find my class, obviously frantic due to the fact that I woke up 30 minutes after my alarm. I'm not usually like this, I tend to wake up at the first ring of my alarm, but why was today different?

Oh, I think. My dream...

It was about Joochan and I.

Even in the middle of my panicked state, I still got the chance to smile.

It was really cute, we were dancing in this wide hall full of people, in their hands glasses filled with iced teas and juices, all clad in their best suits and gowns. Meanwhile, I was in a coral blue off-shoulder gown, a sweetheart neckline embezzled with rhinestones that sparkle up whenever light hits it. Joochan, on the other hand wore a back tuxedo paired with a blue tie similar to the color of my dress.

The crowd circled around us as we danced to our hearts' content. It was a magical sight.

But then, I remember that I'm tardy for this day.

I hit my head a lot of times when I'm already in front of my class' door.

"Of course, it had to be Mr. An for our first period," I cry internally as I think of how I would embarass myself in front of the class.

I take a deep breath and open the door quietly, sneaking behind. It was a good thing that I picked a seat at the back, so that in times like this, I can save myself from sudden death.

Not until the teacher saw me crawling foolishly, trying not to get caught.

"Ms. Han, I presume?" Mr. An asks and I close my eyes, certain I'll be dead for now. Well, that was all for nothing.

I slowly stand up, head hung low. I nod.

"You're still early for the last 20 minutes of my period," the professor sarcastically tells and looks at his watch for more effect. The whole class erupts into small snickers, and I have never hung my head that low.

"I'm sorry, sir. It won't happen again."

"Of course it shouldn't! Ms. Han, your grades are already falling behind and you let yourself be late? My, my, that's concerning. You're in this prestigious school, with these young, intelligent, and not to mention, punctual students and you're going to be like that? You're even in the first section!" The professor shouts and I flinch at his words. "You should be like your classmates more! Take for example, Bong Jaehyun. He's really excelling in his studies, despite being an athlete. Of course, I wouldn't forget about this class' top student Hong Joochan. Not only he has top notch grades but he never misses out on his classes!"

Instinctively I look at him at the mention of his name, to see him sneaking a glance at me over his shoulder. I didn't know if I should be happy or be embarassed about it.

"Ms. Han, if you ever do this again, I swear I---"

I hear the sound of a chair screeching and I look up, seeing Joochan himself stand up, eyes looking directly at the professor, as if glaring.

"Sir, I have already found the answer to the problem on the board." Joochan deadpans and it turns the teacher's mood a full 180 degrees. Suddenly a small grin is plastered on Mr. An's face.

"Oh? Oh, okay. You can come up to the board and solve it then." Mr. An readjusts his glasses as Joochan gives him a nod, immediately going up to the board and solve the question. The professor notices me still standing there and he scrunches his nose. "What are you still doing there? Get back to your seat, young lady."

I nod hurriedly and go back to my seat, sneaking a peek at the boy up front.

I see Joochan looking back at me. I release a smile and mouth the words "thank you".

He moves his head a little (in what seems to be a nod), a ghost of a smile on his lips and instantly gets back to the equation on the board.
