anw let's get back to da story wiee enjoy and stay safe as always mwaa

Jaehyun did not show up today.

And he did not reply to my texts. Nor my messages in our groupchat. He has not even seen it.

It did not help that it coincidentally happened after yesterday, when we had a talk at the pavilion. Did I say something wrong the last time?

"Stay friends with me."

I gulp, remembering his words.

"I like you."

"I want nothing to change between us."

How could I fulfill that when you suddenly disappear?

My classmates have been pestering me about the whereabouts of Jaehyun since they knew I was the closest to him. Unfortunately, I could not answer him. He wasn't contacting me.

I felt guilty. What if he's not here because I rejected him?

I shake my head. I did the right thing. It would be more wrong if I had accepted his feelings when I know for sure that I could not reciprocate them. Not when I like another person.

Even still, it bothered me. Bong Jaehyun, where the fuck did you disappear to?

"Noona," Bomin calls out, bringing me out of my daze. "Have you seen Jaehyun?"

I shake my head. "Nope."

"What about Joochan hyung?"

I sigh, rolling my eyes. "He's got presidential matters to attend to."

After Joochan and I had that talk going to my house, we hadn't had another chance to talk again. He said he was busy with some student council stuff that he seldom showed up at our table. I found it suspicious as I haven't seen the other student council members being busy but I just shrugged it off. It also sucked because I thought we were going to be more comfortable with each other now that we had that last conversation. But apparently, lady luck wasn't on my side. Bomin is.

Bomin gives a boisterous laugh. "I have noona to myself!"

"Yes, you do," I chuckle with him. "Want to do something?"

We were almost at the exit of the university, going along with the body of students after being dismissed early. It was still around two in the afternoon, and I, for one, would not want to laze off back in my house and waste a lot of time, that was why I did not contact my driver to fetch me. It was good that I at least have Bomin accompanying me so I don't feel that much of a loner.

"Let's go to the mall!" Bomin exclaims and I cheer with him, too.

I stop in my tracks as I see a girl and a boy being too friendly with each other as they exit the campus. They look happy, which irks me more.
