◐ EXTRA #2 ◑

Note: this is an extra to chapter sixteen! this is based from this scene (ill put in the excerpt so yall can understand this chapter hehe)

"The other team is gradually catching up with our score. It seems that without you guys, we're probably going to lose. We need you." Joochan says the last part a bit to soft for us to hear, staring at the clinic's walls.

Jaehyun's smirk makes a comeback and looks at me cheekily. "See? I was right."

"Did I ever say you were wrong?" I retort and sigh. "We need you back in the game. Probably they'll let you in again. Let's go?"

"Wait! I'll tell something to my hyungs first," Bomin proposes and I nod, backing away. Maybe it should be private? I don't know. But I see the younger whispering to both, then to each person, and finally retract, a big grin - or is it a smirk? - on his face. Both Jaehyun and Joochan's frowns were evident, a great contrast to Bomin's smiling face. But it fades away quickly.

"Go, hyung, you can do it," Bomin encourages and Jaehyun nods. "Fighting!"

"We better get going then, the last quarter's about to start." Joochan goes straight for the door and Jaehyun and I follow.

This extra takes place when Bomin had a convo exclusively to the three dudes only, Minhee was left to the side. Okay yall can now read the update yey

They huddle around the hurt player inside the clinic, leaving Minhee standing by the sidelines.

With a curious glint in his eyes, Bomin asks, "What is noona's name?"

Joochan raises an eyebrow. "Han Minhee. Why?"

"Oh nothing, just curious." Bomin shrugs, but shifts his head a bit to the side to see Minhee blankly staring at the clinic walls, with nothing to do.

Joochan and Jaehyun were doubtful. "Why are you smiling so much then?" Jaehyun questions.

"My lips are weird, they try to do something my brain doesnt want it to do."

Joochan squints his eyes at him. "Suspicious."

Bomin pretends he did not hear a thing and proceeds to ask questions again. "From what class is she?"

"We are her classmates," Joochan answers.

"Classmates?"

"Yes, classmates."

"Okay then," Bomin smiles and sighs. "She's really pretty."

"You know what? We should check you eyes too, maybe it broke from your fall," Joochan sarcastically remarks and the three of them boom in laughter.

Minhee raises a questioning glance at the boys.

Jaehyun says, "But seriously though, she is kinda cute."

His junior is surprised, and gives him a look. "Ohh, you like her, hyung?" He wags his eyebrows accompanied by a silly grin stretched on his lips. Joochan looks at Jaehyun curiously, waiting for his answer.

"Did I ever say something that led you to that conclusion?" Jaehyun answers back in a defensive manner.

Bomin then proceeds to smile victoriously which irks Jaehyun. "Nahh, just a hunch. I was just asking, all you needed was to answer yes or no. No need to get defensive."

Joochan laughs. His classmate rolls his eyes in response.

"You laugh but you too would probably answer the same thing," Jaehyun remarks which immediately make Joochan shut up.

"What's the point of arguing?" The youngest of three says. "You two won't get anything from liking her."

"Why is that?"

"Because I'm here."

Jaehyun glares at Bomin. "Whatever you're thinking, it's not gonna happen."

"Oh, you know what I'm thinking," Bomin displays a toothy grin.

"Don't even think about it, before you know it, she's already mine," Jaehyun's voice slightly goes softer into a whisper.

"Are you sure about that, hyung?" Bomin whispers back.

Joochan leans in more. "What are y'all whispering on about?"

His cousin replies, "Minhee noona, I like her."

Joochan looks at him grossly, as if the mere idea of his younger cousin liking someone is gross. But then ahain, he did not back down. "Not if I'm here."

"You won't be the one she likes for too long." Bomin smirks.

His two seniors frown at his statement.

Finally, they retract from their small life group. "Go hyung, you can do it," Bomin ushers and Jaehyun gives him a nod.
