Chapter 4: "Just Another Vision"

Rey:
Rey opened her eyes. Around her, appeared a thick dark green forest with trees as tall as 40 feet tall. Their was a pond on her right with a dark blue hue about it. She slowly bent over to see her reflection across the surface of the water. Her hair had 2 wide braids starting in the middle of her head woven down the sides of her hair lines connecting in a single bun at the bottom center. In between the braids were little white flowers sprawled out. She stood up and for some reason she struggled even just to stand. Her body weight had seemed to increase. Confused, she looked at her body.

She was taken aback when she saw a ginormous bump in the middle of her body. Her stomach was perhaps, twice the size it was before. Over the bump, Rey was wearing a dark navy dress that dragged along the floor. It had golden stitching and long flowy sleeves. She glanced at the forest floor around her, it was covered in flowers of fiery red and deep ocean blue. One flower in particular, caught her attention. It was a single purple rose. Rey walked towards it. When she got to it she found another, and so on and so forth until she could see dark green fields under bright skies of blue. Across the open fields she heard a young voice scream, "Daddy!".

She turned her face to the direction of the sound and then right in front of her appeared a little girl. Her hair was a dark brown, like the trunks of the trees from the forest she had just seen, that was styled in two braids starting from her forehead leading to two buns at the top of her head. She wore a light grey dress that stopped by her knees. She was almost at BB-8's height. Rey felt a strange connection with her.  She jumped onto the back of a man with wavy black hair. Rey froze she knew who this man was. He was Ben. "What kind of cruel joke is the force trying to play with me", Rey though to herself. Slowly, she realized what was going on. It hurt her that she would have to see what might have been and be ripped away from it. She couldn't breath. It felt like her heart squeezed every second.

Ben put the little girl on the ground next to him and grabbed her hand. He looked towards Rey, deep into her eyes. He was smiling yet somehow it looked like he was about to cry. They both started walking towards Rey.

She put her hand on her stomach as she felt pain. She then realized she was pregnant. Her! Pregnant? Something she would have never though of being.  Ben reached Rey. He let go of the little girl as she ran off to play in the fields. He grabbed Rey's hands and rested his forehead on hers. With his touch Rey felt safe.

The galaxies most dangerous man... yet she felt safe. 

Most dangerous man...

She kept repeating this over and over again in her head. Then reality struck. Every single reason they couldn't be together floated around in her mind, making her dizzy.

Ben let go. He could feel her thoughts. Backing away. The world slowly changed. She wasn't pregnant anymore, the little girl was gone, and Ben was gone too. In his place, was Kylo Ren. His mask covering his face. Rey ran up to him. Before she could reach him, she froze. He had stopped her. Memories rushed passed her of the time that the same man had paralyzed her and poked into her mind.

Pain. As quick as light speed. Unbearable. She looked down to her body and saw the spewing red saber in her abdomen.

She fell. Laying down on the burning hot sand drenched in her own blood. Gasping for breath. Desperately in pain. She tried to shift her body with her hands. The heat was excruciating. She pushed herself forward with her elbows. Sand stuck to her body wet with blood. She could still see him.
"Ben.", Rey called out, hurt.

"Ben"

"Be.."

Rey gasped and sat up trying to catch her breath. She was back...back into actual reality. She looked to Poe and Fin. They were kneeling next to her on the floor. "What happened Rey? What did you see?", Fin said. Rey couldn't speak. Even if she tried to open her mouth, she couldn't. No words would come out. She was paralyzed. A statue. She could finally speak, "I...I..", Rey broke out into sobs. Poe quickly held on to her as she cried. "Shh...you don't have to speak Rey, if you don't want to. Just let it all out. Your going to be ok. Im here, ok? We are all here for you.", Poe whispered into her ear.
