Chapter 9

Chapter 9 is here! I had a hard time writing this one but I'm happy with it and I hope you guys will be too.

I drove into the driveway and hopped out of my car before nearly skipping to the front door. "Mom I'm home!" I yelled as I hung up my coat.

"Alexia! Where did you go?" My mom called back.

"I went out for lunch with a friend." I shrugged.

"Leave a note or something next time! I had no idea where you were!"

"Sorry. I'm going outside to read now okay?"

"Fine enjoy your book."

I smiled. "I will." As I made myself comfortable in my chair I opened up Wattpad and began to write. My story was taking shape and I had a few fans who always wrote the nicest comments. I wrote for a few minutes before my mind went blank. I groaned and tried reading but again I couldn't focus. So I went to my go-to solution, texting Jasper.

A: Ugh I can't focus on anything

J: I do have that effect

A: Oh shut up *rolls eyes*

J: You know it's true

A: But seriously I can't read or write anything because of my stupid mind

J: I know what you mean

A: Why do you have to live in Whitning?

J: Because moving is expensive Peachy

A: Ugh

A: If you lived closer we could hang out way more

J: Yeah well...

A: I know :(

J: I got to go Lex

A: Aww bye

J: Bye

So that was not the long conversation I wanted. Oh well. I yawned and checked the time. It was only 4 but I was exhausted! I went upstairs with the intention of having a nap but instead ended up trying to read again, with the same result as before. Due to the desperate situation I texted Charlotte.

A: Hey you there?

C: Yeah. Your new friend dump you?

A: No I just wanted to talk to you

C: Right...

A: That's it I swear

C: So get talking then

A: I was just wondering why you were acting like this, I mean, this isn't how the Charlotte I know acts

C: I don't know Lexie! I just am

A: That's not a reason Char

C: Yes it is

A: Nope

C: Yup

A: *facepalms*

C: XD

A: There's the Charlotte I know

C: I guess I was jealous. How could I not be? He's soooo hot

A: *rolls eyes*

C: He is!

A: I guess he is cute...

C: He's gorgeous Alexia and you know it

A: So actually Char, why were you so jealous

C: What you're trying to say is why was I a total bitch?

A: Yeah... Pretty much...

C: I was jealous that you could meet some one like that on some random site who obviously likes you

A: He does not!

C: Uh, yes he does.

A: The most romantic thing he's done was give me a flower when we went out for lunch today.

C: See?

A: Oh. Yeah I kind of do

C: Also you had lunch with him today?!!

A: Yep. It was pretty awesome

C: I bet. Where'd you go?

A: The little cafe by Riverwood park

C: That is soooo romantic!

A: It was just friendly

C: So that's exactly why he gave you a flower...

A: Seriously it was just friendly!

C: What kind if flower was it?

A: A lily

C: Aww those are so pretty

A: They're my favourite. I put it in this really cute jar next to my bed

C: He totally likes you

A: We'll see

I sat up straight as the doorbell rang.

A: I'm glad we're good now. I got to go though

C: Me too :) I'll talk to you later

I threw my phone on the bed as my mom called me downstairs.

"Sweetheart there's someone here for you." She told me.

"What? As far as I know no one's coming over."

"I don't know." She shrugged. "I've never seen him before."

I hurried down the rest of the stairs and went to the front door. I'm 99.9% sure my jaw dropped.

"Hey Peachy."

*Evil grin* Cliff hanger! You guys all know who it is, I know you do. But what is he doing here? We shall see...

Also I'm going to be starting a new book soon! This one will still be going on but I'm really excited for this next one. It's pretty different than this one but I hope you guys will like it!
