I drove home the next morning with a smile on my face, it had been a good night like Char and I used to have. When I got home it was close enough to lunch for me but before I went to make some food I got a text from Jasper.
J: Hey Peachy
A: Hey my wanna-be Mario
J: So how's life?
A: It's good. Why?
J: Aren't you going to ask how I am?
A: Oh fine... How are you?
J: Much better, in fact I was wondering if you would like to do something today.
A: Yeah sure! Where and when?
J: How about tonight? For dinner?
A: Sounds good but where do you want me to meet you?
J: I'm driving, well actually I'm not. I'm getting driven there because I can't drive yet but once we're there it's a surprise.
A: Okay? So where I am driving to?
J: The surprise takes over in the parking lot by the little cafe.
A: Alrighty then... When should I meet you there?
J: 5? You free then?
A: I'll be there
J: Can't wait :) I've been planning this for awhile

I smiled to myself, he always had the perfect, wittiest remarks but they were never mean.
J: Quarter past not happening

J: So?
A: If you were here right now...

J: So then Peachy, we have time to kill. What do you want to do?
A: I don't know, ask random questions?
J: That's what we always do, so yeah sure
A: Kay you want to ask first?
J: Do you mind if I ask you something about your family?

J: Umm let me think... Why do you never talk about your dad?
A: Oh
J: You don't have to tell me if you don't want to
A: No it's okay.
