Final bit of drama before the end! Enjoy!

A few weeks later...

I stepped out of Jasper's convertible and surveyed the scene in front of me. A few people were either drunkenly staggering around or making out while, I have no doubt, under the influence as well. "Uh, mind if I ask what we're doing here?" I asked Jasper hesitantly.

"Don't worry about them." He gestured to the drunks. "The people inside will be fine. Trust me."

"I trust you but I don't trust the others."

"Well then it's good you only need to trust me." He calmed me and put his arm around my waist as we walked inside. There were people everywhere. Dancing, talking and the random few who were pressed against the walls making out, of course. Jasper led me to the drinks table and handed me a pop. "Thanks." I accepted the drink and opened it up with a snap.

"Want to see if we can find my friends again? It was fun last time."

"Sure. Where would they be?"

"I have absoulutely no clue."

"Let's wander shall we?"

"We shall." He agreed and we walked hand in hand, weaving through the hoarde of people. "Over there." He stopped and pointed to a couple that was in the middle of a very intense looking makeout sesion.

"Uh maybe we can say hi later." I looked away awkwardly.

"Yeah that seems like a good idea." He turned around and we found an empty spot in the room. We stood there a just talked for a good 15 minutes while we finished our drinks. "May I have this dance?" He asked as a slow song came on. He offered me his hand as he bowed and I nodded. "Of course my good sir." I smiled as he held me close. "Just a crappy little chat site." I whispered.

"After one minute you had me Lex."

"I was going to disconnect and completely give up after that 'Hay is for horses' thing." I laughed.

"I thought I was being funny!"

"You were."

"And your sarcasism was perfect." He grinned.

"I try." I replied smugly.

"Oh shush."

"Nuh uh." I giggled.

"Fine. Only because you're perfect."

"Aww." I smiled up at him as he spun me around before giving me a quick peck on the lips.

"How to shut up a girl in one easy step."

"You could write a book." I laughed.

"It wouldn't be very long though."

"So? You would make millions."

"Want to see if Will's no longer busy?"

"We'll see, he looked like he might be awhile." I said half jokingly.

"Take a peek." He stepped to the side and peered through the crowd. "All clear."

"Let's go." I pulled on his hand but froze instantly.

"Lex? What is it?" Jasper asked.

"That's not Will."

"There's not many blonde guys I know. Will's the only one apart from-" He stopped. "Oh. It's Colin."

"Yeah."

"Who was he with then?"

"I have no idea." I whispered shakily.
