I, Alexandria Grace Sanders, had a boyfriend. A real official boyfriend. What.
After I agreed he took my hand and walked with me back to my car. "I'm glad your mine." He admitted.
"I am too." I smiled back he couldn't see it but behind my wall I had so many tears waiting to break through. I was still in shock from the whole thing. I hadn't had a boyfriend or interest in a guy since Colin and now it definitely brought back sad memories. As soon as I was in my car I felt my eyes well up with tears as I remembered when I introduced Colin to my parents.
"Mom? Dad?" I called into the house.
"What is it Lexie?" My dad answered back from the living room.
"Where's mom?" I asked him.
"I'm coming! What is it?" She looked startled. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah never been better. Uh I wanted you to meet someone. I'll be right back." I raced back to where Colin was waiting and grabbed his hand. "You ready?" I whispered to him.
"You betcha Lexie." He kissed me quickly before I led him to where my parents were.
"Umm, mom? Dad? This is Colin."
"Hi." He gave a small wave.
"And uh yeah." I broke off awkwardly.
"And I'm kind of her boyfriend." He added.
"Yeah he is." I confirmed quietly.
"Nice to meet you Colin." My dad got up and shook hands with him before offering him a seat. The rest of the introduction went well besides the very, very, extremely awkward beginning. After that overall-weird moment Colin ended up staying for dinner. "You want to come with me up to my room or stay down here with the parental units?" I grinned.
"I don't know Lexie... Both options are pretty damn good."
"Oh come on you." I laughed as I pulled him up the stairs to my room. "Welcome to my humble room sir." I bowed.
"Thank you my dear." He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me close.
"Mmm." I groaned. "Colin! Your squishing me."
"Sorry Lexie." He kissed the tip of my nose as he spoke. "Better?"
"Almost."
"Fine." He rolled his eyes and kissed me properly.
"There we go." I laughed.
"So," He began. "While we're waiting whatcha wanna do?"
"Whatcha wanna? That sounds so strange." I said as I held back my laughter.
"Oh be quiet."
I rolled my eyes, he always did this and he knew what would make me do it.
"Fine, be that way." He smiled and kissed me gently but behind his gentle lips I could feel his desperation. I went along with it and rested my hands on his cheeks as he moved his arms to my waist. I caressed his cheek tenderly and wrapped my arms around his neck. He pulled me closer and-
Without meaning to, I let my tears escape my eyes. "Lex?" Lex what is it?" Jasper asked instantly, his hand on my shoulder.
"Nothing." I sobbed as I shook my head.
"No it's not nothing." He insisted. "I'm your Mario Peach. I'm supposed to be there to catch you when you fall and protect you from Bowser."
"I'm not Peach Jasper. I'm not even a normal girl! I mean I'm human and stuff yeah, but apart from that look at me! I'm a mess inside!"
