Arianna's POV
"What the hell just happened?" I asked.
"Hell if I know." Nico said.
"Well, we came here for nothing." I said.
"You can say that again."
"Eh. It's a perfect time for sight seeing, don't you think?"
"Where are we going?"
"Since it's already 7 P.M., let's go to Eiffel Tower. I've always wanted to go there." I said.
"Then, let's go."
"Wait. Do you have any idea how to speak French? Cus I'm pretty sure hailing a cab is gonna be hard without French." I said.
"Do you think I don't know that? Of course I know how to speak French. I wouldn't have went here without studying it at least a little." Nico said, rolling his eyes.
"Well, some people are stupid enough to go to a country that speaks another language and not learn it." I defended.
"You mean like you?" he asked, smirking.
"You better run before I beat the crap out of you." I threatened.
He ran and I chased him. We were at some park and there was only a few people there. Luck was on my side. Nico tripped. But I was running full spead so I couldn't stop myself and fell on top of him. Okay. Maybe luck wasn't on my side. Wasn't it supposed to be awkward? I mean, our faces were a few centimeters apart! But it wasn't. We were just staring at each other. Then, before I know it, his lips were on mine. How is it freaking possible that I never noticed that I like my best friend?
"Maybe the fact that you didn't know it was over between you and Aaron. And the fact that his relationship with that whore is over too?" some part of me said. I totally agree with it.
We kept on kissing until we ran out of breath.
"Woah. Uhmm.. I have no clue what just happened, but that was fun." Nico said.
I laughed. "Agreed."
I rolled over and laid beside him. The stars were beautiful from here. I felt him poke my side, making me giggle. I looked at him. "What?"
"You still up for Eiffel?" he asked.
"Nah. Let's just go tomorrow. I like it here."
"Whatever you say."
"Oh, and let's go to Notre Dame tomorrow before we go to Eiffel! I wanna go there!" I said, standing up and jumping up and down.
"Woah. Hold it there. Let's just go find a hotel first, get some sleep, and then go to wherever you want to go, okay?" he said, chuckling.
"Sir, yes sir!" I said, saluting him.
He shook his head, standing up. "Let's go." He took my hand and left.
I barely noticed the fact that I was smiling like an idiot until my facial muscles were tired and I could feel my face twitching. Oh well. I was happy.
