Aaron's POV
It's 5 o'clock in the morning. I needed to be at the airport by 6 o'clock. I stood up, careful not to wake Arianna up. Right when I left her side, a frown made its way to her face. I sighed. I can't bare to wake her up and let her watch me leave. I know that she'll be broken, and just watching her break will make ME break. I spent the rest of my time on a chair facing her, pencil and paper in my hand.
I started writing everything I felt about her, and by the time I finished, my eyes were red, but no tears came. I already spent some of my time crying while watching her sleep. I didn't wanna see my weak part. I just pretend to be strong for her, but on the inside, I'm broken.
I kissed her one last time, my lips lingering on hers. Surprisingly, a single tear fell on her face. "Take care of yourself for me. Be strong. I don't want anything to happen to you. I'll be back for you." I said softly. I just had a feeling she could hear me. I stood up, dropping the letter that I wrote her by her night table by her bed. I left, closing the door softly. I turned and saw Nate.
"Take care of her for me, yeah?" I asked.
"That's what I'm planning to do even if you didn't tell me." he said, smiling a little.
"Good. I'm trusting you with her." I stretched my hand and he shook it.
"You can leave her to me. We'll all be waiting and keeping her strong." he said.
I put my hands in my pocket and dug around for something. I found it and took Nate's hand.
"Dude. I'm not gay." he said. I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up." I dropped the ring in his hand. "Give this to her when she's back to her feet. Tell her to not cry for me. I'll be back before she knows it." I said.
He nodded. We went downstairs. Arianna's parents, Nate, and Nate's sister dropped me off at the airport. I hugged Mom and Dad. "Take care, Aaron. Don't forget about us, okay?" Mom said.
"Of course not. How can I forget the best family I could ask for? How can I forget the people who brought the most beautiful girl in this world? The ones who raised her to be the person she is. How could I?" I said.
She laughed. "You're still such a sweet talker."
"But you still love me."
"That can be debatable." she said, grinning
I turned to Dad. "Any last words that?"
"You're not dying, Aaron. But I do have a few. Don't hurt my baby." he said.
"Not in a million years, Dad. Not in a million years." I said.
"I'll be holding to you for that." he said, smiling.
I turned to Lizzie. "Keep Arianna company, yeah?" I said, while hugging her.
"Of course. No need to tell me."
"You're just like your brother." I said, letting her go.
"I take that as the worst insult." she said, making a face.
Nate fake gasped. "What's that supposed to mean?!"
"Exactly how I said it." she said, rolling her eyes.
I heard a voice say, "Flight 202 to France, now bording. I repeat, Flight 202 to France are now bording."
I sighed. "Well I better get going. I might miss my flight."
They all hugged me and say, "Be safe."
"Call when you land." Mom said.
I nodded and with one last look, I left. All the while, thinking about Arianna.

A/N
Here's my promise. The climax is getting closer!!!! AAAHHH!!! My inspirational song is Gotta Be You by One Direction, since I know that some of you cant see the video link in the sidebar :) The picture on the sidebar is the promis ring that Aaron told Nate to give to Arianna! It's soo prettyyyy!! But can we pretend that it says "Aaron and Arianna" instead of "John and Sally"?? LOL E.P.I.C.F.A.I.L. I couldn't decide whether to pick the one that says "True Love Waits" or "A Promise Is Forever" so I just chose the second one since it's all about Aaron's promise to her :) <3 Love this chapter :D
It's my random time sooo.... does anyone notice that the girl from the Gotta Be You music video of One Direction that Zayn is singing to looks like Taylor Lautner???
