Arianna's POV
3 years have passed since Aaron was gone. 1st year, we were chatting, skyping, and everything. 2nd year we became a little distant cus we were both busy. 3rd year came and we barely talked. I don't know what was happening between us, but it sure wasn't good.
Nico and I have been closer than ever. Both of us can understand each other. We became best friends. He knew me like Aaron does. And that's something considering that Aaron knew me since I was a kid and Nico knew me for just 3 years.
I just finished writing the book we were working on at class when the bell rang. I packed up quickly.
"Hurry up, you slow poke!" Nico said. He was sitting next to me at class.
"Shut up, grandma."
"Hurry! I have a surprise for you!" Oh. I forgot it was my birthday today.
I groaned. "Alright. Alright."
We got out of class and since it was the last class of the day, we went to eat something as usual.
We ordered and sat at a table. "Do you know what school Aaron goes to?" Nico asked.
I looked at him weirdly. "At American University of Paris. Why?"
"Wow. He even goes to the same school as Savannah."
"What are the chances of your girlfriend and my boyfriend knowing each other?" I asked.
"Heck if I know." he said.
"Well, why were you asking?"
"Oh right. Here," He took something out of his bag and held it up. Tickets. Plane tickets. I looked at him, wide eye, and took the tickets. Tickets to France. Two of them. "I asked your parents for permission already. You're going to France with me. We're paying Savannah and Aaron a visit."
I squealed as I stood up from my chair and hugged him. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is the best birthday gift ever! When are we leaving?"
"The moment summer starts."
"Yes!!" By now, people in the diner were looking weirdly at us, but I didn't care. I was going to see Aaron and my best friend will get to see his girlfriend! I didn't even mind that Aaron forgot it was my birthday.
