It was Monday again. The oh-so-dreadful Monday, when all of the kids are lazy cus it's the start of another week at school. The time when students can't wait for school to finish and be off to God-knows-where for vacation. Well, I don't want school to end, cus then that means Aaron is leaving me.
I heard someone climbing up the stairs while I was putting my hoodie on. My door burst open and I jumped. "What the hell?! Don't you know how to knock?! Oh, who am I kidding? Of course you don't know how to knock." I muttered.
"Aww. Now who's being grumpy today? Someone woke up at the wrong side of the bed." Aaron said, coming up to me and pinching my cheeks like a baby.
I batted his hands away. "Shut up. Why are you here anyway? And why are you so full of energy when it's so early in the morning? You're not a morning person, not to mention you hate Mondays."
"Eh, I better make the most of it, right?" he said, sadness creeping in his eyes and I copied it. He pulled me into a hug, and I tried hard not to cry. He pulled away and said, "Come on. Let's eat breakfast.
"Why do guys always eat? It's like their stomach is bottomless. Or if I were to be more realistic, it's the size of an elephant." I said.
"You're one to talk. You eat like a guy, which means your stomach is also the size of an elephant." he said, grinning.
I huffed. "I don't eat like that, FYI."
He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, try convincing yourself that."
We went downstairs and ate breakfast. Okay, maybe he was right. I do eat a lot, but not as much as him.

Right after school, I dragged Lizzie with me to look for a dress. I might go crazy if I was left alone with Jess and mom in a store full of dresses. Jess, I can cope with, but if mom and Jess combined, I'm gonna go crazy. At least if Lizzie was there, she can keep me sane enough to survive the night.
When we got to the parking lot, I saw Aaron walking towards us. He ran towards me to close the space between us and hugged me, spinning me around in the process. He put me down and I giggled. "Hi! How's it-" Before he can even finish his sentence, me and Lizzie were dragged away from him by Jess.
"Jess! I was talking to Aaron! You know it's disrespectful to interrupt someone when they're talking! And besides, I only have a few more months to talk to him." I said.
"Oh, please. It's not the end of the world, you know? And you'll be able to talk to him, dance with him, and probably make out with him at the Prom. You have plenty of time to spend time with him. Right now, our main priority is to buy you a very pretty dress, so lil Aaron will be head-over-heels with you. Well, MORE head-over-heels for you." Jess said, smiling sweetly.
"Aaron is NOT head-over-heels for me." I denied.
"Whatever you say." she sighed, though I know she doesn't believe me.
We drove for about fifteen minutes before we stopped in front of the most expensive dress store, Hot Chick. We opened the door and went inside, the bell chiming slightly. A girl, slightly familiar looking, walked towards us and said, "Anything I can help you with?" in a shy voice. She was about five feet and six inches. She had greenish eyes, layered brunette hair, and tanned skin.
"I'll call you when we need something." Jess snapped.
"Okay." the girl said quietly.
Before she went away, I called, "Hey! Wait up!" The girl turned, a questioning gaze in her eyes. "I've seen you somewhere, but I can't remember where." I said.
"I go to the same school with you guys, but only a few people know me cus I'm a nerd." she said, avoiding my gaze. "You're Arianna, Aaron's girlfriend."
"WHAT?!" I screamed.
The girl looked scared shitless. "Sorry about that. But you got it wrong. I'm not Aaron's girlfriend. It might just look like it because we're best friends."
"Oh. Well you guys would look like a cute couple, and there's been rumors saying that you two were dating." she said, looking down.
"Thank you, but as I said, we're not dating. Anyway, what's your name?" I asked.
"It's Stephanie." she said.
"Hey! A! I found something! Try it on!" I heard Jess shout from across the shop.
"Wanna help me? I'm looking for a dress to use at the prom. I could use some help." I said.
"I don't think you'll need my help. From what I know, Jessica has a great eye when it comes to shopping. I'm sure you'll be prettier than ever on the dress you choose." she said.
"Well, Jess is good at fashion, but since you're working here, you must be too."
She blushed. Before she could reply, Jess, Lizzie, and mom popped out of nowhere and dragged me to the fitting room. I shot Stephanie a pleading look which clearly meant HELP and she followed.
After fitting a gazillion more dresses, Jess was frustrated. No, beyond frustrated. She looked like she was ready to pull her hair out, and punch anyone who crosses her path. She groaned in frustration and said, "If I don't find THE dress, I'm gonna start punching people's faces."
Stephanie cleared her throat and said, "Uhm, I think I know a dress that will be perfect for Arianna."
Jess looked like she was ready to murder Stephanie. "Well, why didn't you say anything earlier?!"
Stephanie looked like she was ready to cry and wished she was anywhere else but here. "Sorry!" she squealed.
"Well, what are you still standing there for?! Where's the dress you're telling us about?!" Jess screamed.
"I'll go get it, Ma'am!" Stephanie turned around and ran for dear life.
Everyone gasped as they saw the dress she came back with. It was a stunning floor length dress. It was blue from chest to knees and yellow for the rest. It had gold floral pattern at the top part of the dress.
Stephanie handed it to Jess, breathing rapidly from her run. Jess took the dress, open-mouthed. She gave it to me and said, "Try it on." Her voice was a little breathless from seeing the dress.
I took the dress and went to the fitting room. When I finished, I reluctantly went outside to show everyone. I gasped, everyone's attention was turned to me- Jess, Mom, Lizzie, Stephanie.... Wait! What the hell is Nate and Aaron doing here?! They all stared at me, mouths open, and all they did was stare. I don't think they even took a breath.
