Arianna's POV

I was actually learning the basic French. Courtesy of Google Translator of course. And that's how Nico found me. On the bed, laying on my stomach, and in front of the T.V. Did I mention you can connect the computer to the T.V. and it had wireless mouse and keyboard? I was experimenting on it and translating whatever came to my mind in French.

"What are you doing?" Nico asked, giving me a weird look.

"What do you think? I'm learning French." I said, rolling my eyes.

He laughed. "How is it that I'm still friends with you when you're this crazy?"

"Speak for yourself. You still haven't told me what you're hiding from me."

"You really wanna know that bad?"

"Yes!"

"Well, it'll be better if I show you. You won't believe me if I don't give you a proof."

"Eh. You've only met me 3 years ago and you know me this much already. I feel special!" I said. "Unlike Aaron. He makes me feel like crap." I mummbled.

"What?"

"Nothing." I flashed him an innocent smile, clearly saying it wasn't nothing, and he gave me a I-don't-believe-you look.

"Dress up in something comfy. And bring a sweater. It's chilly outside." he said.

He changed into his angry bird jacket and I said, "Hey! I have one too!" He had a gray one with all 4 birds in it while I have a red one with just one bird. "Let's match!" I laughed.

"Hurry up then, woman!" Nico said.

"Calm your butt."

"It's perfectly calm."

I rolled my eyes and dug through my suitcase. I had on a jean short and a tank top, so I'll just put my angry bird hoodie on. Once I got it on, I went outside to find Nico furiously typing at his iPhone. "Chill, man. Your phone is gonna break down on you. Watch."

He rolled his eyes. He gave me once over and said, "Cute. We're all couple-y, yet we're not a couple."

"We just roll like that."

"You ready then?"

I nodded. He offered his arm, making me roll my eyes, but nonetheless looped my arm through his.

We walked down the long hallway and made our way to the big garden. There was nobody there considering it was almost midnight. My stomach grumbled, making me realize I haven't had lunch or dinner yet. Nico laughed. "Tell that dragon of yours to turn it down a bit."

"Not my problem. I haven't had lunch or dinner yet."

"And that's exactly why we're here."

I looked at him, confused. He smiled and turned his attention to something in front of us. I turned to see what it was and gasped. There was a table for two next to the fountain in the middle. I turned back to him, shocked. "When did you prepare this?"

"When you said my phone was gonna break if I kept typing."

"Wow." was all I can say. I hit him.

"Ow! What was that for?" he asked. "Is this a way to say thank you?"

"Partly, yes. But I can't believe you made me dress like this. I look like utter crap."

He rolled his eyes. "No you don't. Even a trashbag would look good in that body of yours." he said, mumbling the last part, but I still heard him.
