Aaron's POV*

I stared at the goddess standing in front of me. She was stunningly beautiful. She stared back, but instead of me, she was staring at Nate. Anger washed over me like a river over flowing and turning into a flood. Why is she looking at him instead of me?! What's so special about him?! He should stay away from Arianna if he still wants to live. I love Arianna and I'm not gonna let him get in the way.

Wait... Did I just say what I think I said? Well, technically, I wasn't saying it, I was thinking it, but back to the topic. Did I think that?

Well, maybe I do love her.. Wait. What the hell am I saying?! I can't be in love with her! She's my best friend, for goodness' sake!

Admit it, you dumbass. You do love her. Your mind just says you don't.

Shit! I think I'm going insane! First, I think I fell in love with my best friend, and now, I'm talking to myself!

You've been insane for a long time now. You've been in love with Arianna ever since you saw her sing back when you guys were still in elementary.

"Shut up!" I said to myself.

I sighed deeply. It's official... I'm insane.

Arianna's POV*

The week went by really fast. Next thing I know, it was Prom day. I inwardly groaned. Me and Aaron were sitting on the shade of the big tree in my backyard, hiding behind it. We were trying to ignore the world, more like both our moms and Jess. They kept dragging us to places to find the "right" outfits for us to use at the Prom. They wanted us to be crowned as King and Queen, which wasn't hard, but wasn't easy either, if that makes sense.

Me and Aaron were bobbing our heads in time with the music with our eyes closed. Both of us had earphones on and it was on full blast. I was listening to Orianthi's Shut Up And Kiss Me, while he was listening to Falling in Reverse's The Drug In Me Is You. As Orianthi was singing the chorus, the music stopped, my earphones was gone. I opened my eyes to find mom's face a few inches from mine. I fell sideways, my breathing changed from normal to fast. "Mom! You scared the crap outta me!" I said. I saw Aaron chuckling at my scared expression. I glared at him and growled playfully. He covered his laugh with coughs.

"Well we've been looking for both of you! You guys need to get ready! You have three hours before you leave."

"Exactly! Three hours, mom! It's still early! Getting ready won't take too long." I said, putting my earphones back on. My mom pulled my earphones out again, which irritated me, pulled me to my feet and started dragging me to my room. I saw Claire do the same with Aaron.

When we got to my room, Jess was already there with a huge box of make up. "Oh hell no. I'm not gonna put make up." I said crossing my arms.

Jess stuck out her lips, making her look like a puppy.. a cute one though. "Just a little! Please!" she begged.

Oh what the hell, it's just a little anyway. This is gonna be my last time putting make up on, though, I thought to myself. "Fine." I said, making Jess squeal and drag me to a chair. Mom giggled and left us alone.

I put on my earphones and listened to All Time Low's song, That Girl. After what seemed like eternity, Jess is finally done with the make up and hair part. Now all I have to do is put on my dress. I wanted to see how I looked like, but Jess won't let me look until I have my dress on, too. Mom came in, holding my dress. Jess took it, passed it to me, and pushed me in my closet. I sighed. Nothing I can do about it. I'll just get this over with, I thought. I slipped the dress on, trying not to ruin Jess's masterpiece. I finally managed to put the dress on without damaging my hair and make up...I think. I stepped outside, and Jess and mom gasped and stared with awe.

I gave them a flat look. "What?" I snapped.

They squealed simultaneously and ran over to me. They jumped around me, which looked really weird considering my mom's age.  They pulled me towards my full length mirror, and I gasped. What I saw was definitely not Arianna. The one staring back at me was stunning. Her hair was in a wavy crimped style, her blue-green eyes in heavy mascara, giving it a darker shade, and her lips was shiny with pink lipgloss. The dress was...fabulous. It hugged me in the right places, the top of the dress hung not too tightly on my chest, but not too loose either.

I heard Jess cuss to my right, my mother giving her a pointed look, and Jess smiled sheepishly. "Sorry about that, but if she doesn't stop staring at her gorgeous self in the mirror, I will never be done with getting ready. And now that I think about it, I haven't seen Lizzie too. I told her to change into her dress and put make up on, and I'm supposed to be fixing her hair."

Mom pulled Jess in the closet which had her prom dress in it, and told her to get dressed. Just as Jess came out of the closet, the door swung open, and outside was Lizzie in her stunning yellow dress. There were silver beads at the top and it goes down the middle and stops at her waist line. The dress looked rather simple, but on her, it was absolutely gorgeous. I noticed that she got her make up and hair done by herself. All the we need was to get Jess ready.

As mom was making the last touches in Jess's make up, my phone rang. I looked at my phone, which had Stephanie's name flashing on its screen. I answered the phone, craddling it using my cheek and shoulder, as I was putting my heels. "Hey! What's up?" I said brightly.

"I'm here at the venue already. Holy.. biscuit... There are currently two gorgeous hotties entering. Wait a minute... It's Nate and Aaron! Damn, they're sizzling!" Stephanie said, making a sizzling sound through the phone. That was the first time I heard Stephanie talk like that. I guess she finally came out of her shell. "Why aren't you guys together?" she asked.

"Cus we're girls and we take much more time to dress up than them." I said.

"Oh. Well, where are you guys?" she asked.

"Tell her we're on our way." Jess said.

As I was about to tell her, Steph said, "I heard her. No need to say it again."

I chuckled. "We'll be there in ten. See ya!"

"Kk. Waiting for you guys outside." she said, then hang up.

We all piled in the limo, which was requested by Jess, who else... As we stopped in front of the hotel the prom was taking place in, I already spotted Steph outside. She was beautiful in her dress. Her hair was in its original form which was straight, though in a darker shade. She was wearing a blue floor length dress, not like mine though. Hers went straight down to her feet and had a strap that went around her neck. It had black beads going around her waist and a black flower bead in the middle.

She made her way towards us slowly, as if trying to believe what she's seeing. "Oh..my..God.. You guys are beautiful. No! Drop dead gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous!"

"Well, stop trying to eat us up by staring and let's go inside. I soo wanna see everyone's reaction!" Jess beamed.

As we stepped inside the room for the prom, everyone stopped and stared. This was the type of reaction Jess was hoping for, and she got it. I saw Nate and Aaron by the drinks, and their mouths were open as wide as a crocodile's.

I went straight to where they were, took hold of my partner's hand, and we danced in the middle of the dance floor, everyone watching in envy and awe.
