Arianna's POV
"I'm hungry! Plane foods are nasty!" I complained.
Nico laughed. "I gotta agree with you. Wanna eat somewhere?"
"Actually, I have a feeling my mom's gonna cook something, so let's save our appetite. She's really good at cooking." I said as we went to baggage claim.
"Awesome. I'm starved." he said, rubbing his belly.
"Typical boy." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Hey! I thought since you're my girlfriend, you won't judge! You eat just like me! Or much more!" he defended.
"I do not!"
"Yes, you do!"
"Ok fine. Maybe I do." I said, smiling.
He was about to say something when I heard someone screaming my name. A lot of someone, I should say. I looked at Nico, confused and both of us turned and I saw my family. I squealed and ran to them and they did the same. Nico started catching up to me, laughing as he watched me go crazy. Nate beat everyone and got to me first, so I threw myself at him and hugged him tightly.
"I missed you so much!" he said.
"I missed you too! 3 years is too long!" I said, my face still buried in his neck.
"Too long to forget about my awesome body?" he asked. I could feel him grinning on my neck.
"Don't flatter yourself too much." I said as I let go. Or more like because I was ripped apart from him by Lizzie, Stephanie, Jess, and my mom. We all formed a group hug. I saw Nico talking to dad and Nate. They were laughing. I smiled. They like him already.
"Girls, move away. I wanna see my baby." mom said. They left us and went to Nico, while dad went to me. "How's school? How about your aunt and uncle and Aaron? And who's that guy you're with?"
"Mom, chill. One question at a time. School's been great. I've met new friends. "The Garcias are doing great too. Met them, they were lovely as usual. And that guy is my boyfriend." I said.
They stared at me in shock. "What? What happened to Aaron?"
"I'll explain everything later. They have to know too. I talked to them yesterday." I said, referring to the others.
They nodded. Mom went off to meet Nico. I laughed. He's popular, eh. I went and stood by his side, his arms making its way around my waist, making everyone say aww!
"Come on. I'm starving. We both are." I said as they guided us to the car.
"Good. I cooked something."
"I knew it!" I screamed, fist pumping in the air.
They laughed. "You're still the same Arianna we know, who eats like a pig." Nate said.
"Uhmm.. Hello? Offended!" I said.
"What can you say? It is true. You said so yourself." he added before I could punch him.
"True. Oh well. You guys still love me."
"Agreed." he said.
