Aaron's POV
I was having a make out session with Savannah when all of a sudden, mom screamed. I bolted out of my room and fled downstairs where dad was looking confused and mom was beaming with joy.
"What the hell mom? You scared me! I thought you died or something!" I said as I made my way to where she sat.
My mom was looking at the T.V. like it was her first dinner. "Not my problem. My baby looks gorgeous in her dress! Now, hush!"
I saw Savannah come up next to me. Mom's baby? Dress? The only one that mom calls baby is me and Arianna. And it's obviously not me since I don't wear a dress. So it's Arianna? I looked at the T.V. and I just stared at it with wide eyes and open mouth. There she was. In an elegant silk dress with Coco. I mean Nico. They were being interviewed.
"Nico, it's good to have you back. How has America treated you so far?" the reporter asked.
Nico smiled. "They've been good to me and gifted me with nice friends."
"How is your school? I heard you got a scholarship, though I doubt you need it anyway, with all the money you guys have."
"I love my school. I've learned so much and I might as well publish my own book right now." he replied, chuckling.
She nodded. "What about her?" She gestured to Arianna. "Are you guys dating?"
He shook his head. "No. We're just best friends. She was offered the same scholarship as mine so we can relate to each other, and ever since then, we've been friends."
"I see." She turned to Arianna again. "May I ask what your name is?"
"I'm Arianna. Nice to meet you." she said in a confident voice though the look in her eyes says the opposite.
"Well Arianna, have you ever thought of Nico as more than just a friend?"
She blushed. "Let's just say maybe." Maybe?! Anger flashed through me as my mom squealed and turned to dad.
"I like that boy. He's perfect for our baby." mom said.
Dad nodded. "Yeah. He's a nice and talented lad." Hey! I thought I was perfect for Arianna, mom!
We turned our attention back at the T.V.
"You look really pretty tonight, by the way. I'm assuming the one and only Stacey Dee designed that dress for you?"
She nodded. "Yup and I want to thank her for it. She's been really nice to me and so were her co-workers."
"Well if she has designed that beautiful gown for you, she must like you a lot." she said and turned to face the camera. "Well, there you have it. Nico and Arianna. Don't you just want them to end up together?"
Savannah laughed. "Stacey Dee? Nice? Not in a million years."
I turned to her. "Why?"
"She's mean to me. Last time when me and Nico were still dating, he brought me there to get a dress fitted, and I was being nice to her and she started poking me with needles. It's supposedly an accident. All I did was be nice."
Mom laughed. "You? Nice? I don't think it's possible to fit that in a sentence. It doesn't make sense."
She gasped. "What?"
"I said, you and nice doesn't fit in a sentence. Want me to repeat that again?"
Savannah crossed her arms in front of her and pouted. I looked at mom. "Mom." I warned.
"What? It's true."
I sighed. This will never end. Mom turned to the T.V. again and sighed happily. "My baby is just so beautiful in her gown! She's all grown!"
