Arianna's POV

When we got to the venue, the place was packed and cameras were flashing everywhere. The venue was completed with a red carpet and Nico parked right in front of it.

I looked at him, shocked. "You mean I gotta walk down a red carpet?!"

"Yup. We'll be stopping in the middle for a short interview, then we'll go straight inside." I just kept staring at him with big eyes. He took my hand. "Don't be scared. I'm right next to you, and if you feel uncomfortable, I'll answer the questions for you." I nodded and he got out of the car and to my side. He opened my door and helped me out. I was blinded for a second by the flashes so I had to cling onto Nico for dear life. I forced out a smile for the cameras and they started throwing quesitons like: "Are you two dating?" "How does it feel to be back in Paris, Nico?" "Is she your girlfriend?" It was mostly about us dating though.

We walked down the red carpet and I silently prayed I won't trip and make a fool of myself. As Nico promised, we stopped in the middle in front of a young female reporter for a small interview.

"Nico, it's good to have you back. How has America treated you so far?" she asked.

Nico smiled. "They've been good to me and gifted me with nice friends."

"How is your school? I heard you got a scholarship, though I doubt you need it anyway, with all the money you guys have."

"I love my school. I've learned so much and I might as well publish my own book right now." he replied, chuckling.

She nodded. "What about her?" She gestured to me. "Are you guys dating?"

He shook his head. "No. We're just best friends. She was offered the same scholarship as mine so we can replate to each other, and ever since then, we've been friends."

"I see." She turned to me. "May I ask what your name is?"

"I'm Arianna. Nice to meet you." I said. I was surprised my voice wasn't shaking and it didn't seem like I was nervous at all.

"Well Arianna, have you ever thought of Nico as more than just a friend?"

I blushed. "Let's just say maybe."

She laughed. "You look really pretty tonight, by the way. I'm assuming the one and only Stacey Dee designed that dress for you?"

I nodded. "Yup and I want to thank her for it. She's been really nice to me and so were her co-workers."

"Well if she has designed that beautiful gown for you, she must like you a lot." she said and turned to face the camera. "Well, there you have it. Nico and Arianna. Don't you just want them to end up together?"

I giggled and Nico chuckled. "Nice to see you again, Eva. Enjoy the party." Nico said.

"Back at you, Nico. Bye, Arianna."

Nico led me inside and I gasped at the interior of the venue. If I thought the outside looked expensive, the inside was just.. WOW. I couldn't find anything to word how beautiful it was. It had to be almost as big as a football field. To the left side of the room was a long, and I mean LONG table of food of different countries. You can tell that the people in the party wasn't just from Paris. They were from all over the world.

Nico brought me to the front of the room where a tall and built man in a tux was standing with his arms on Stacey's waist. Ah. He must be the dad. He looked more like a model than a business man with a family. He resembled Nico in some ways, but I couldn't put my finger to it. I don't know if it was the eyes, the nose, the smile, the hair, the height, or all of it.
