25.Maisie

The hospital corridor were stuffy and the air has an undertone of bleach. The walls were magnolia and had scraped in places from the hundreds of trolleys that have bumped into them. The pictures on the walls are cheap benign prints of uplifting scenes and above the double doors are large blue plastic signs with the areas of the hospital that lie ahead.

I sat in the corridor waiting for yhe results from the doctors. its been 4 hours since the ambulance came and drove us all to the hospital. my mum is alright but she is still a bit shook about Eva's condition right now. Jay sat next to me. we comforted each other through this time of darkness.

"it looks like it's going to be a over night situation" reported the doctor.

"the bullet is lodged in her abdominal area which is near your intestines. It is stuck deep so we have to go straight into surgery before it slowly sinks deeper."

We sat there and waited for hours before jay left and returned with food...i forced myself to eat but i had lost my appetite. Why did jade invite ivy.

I don't know what going on anymore,i don't know who casey is or bryan and i don't care what jay and previously done he seems to have changed. he makes my sister so happy and she makes him feel complete. they have a special connection.

As they carried her body to the surgery room i went into the room they had previous been. The hospital room is as devoid of beauty as I am of hope. Its walls are simply cream, not peeling or dirty, just cream. There is no decoration at all. expect from the clothes that they ripped off her bare body that laid around. I picked up her torn up wedding dress and held it close. it was the last piece of her that i had left.i didn't care that i was gonna get covered in blood i just wanted my sister back.

behind me lurked a shadow.

"how is eva" i recognised this devilish voice

"not that you care but yh jade she isn't so good"

"look im so sorry.. i wasn't supposed to shoot eva"

"what..who were you meant to shot"

"no one it was just to scare my brother so i told ivy to bring the gun and i would act like i didn't know it was all apart of my stupid plan but it failed because someone actaully got hurt."

"i know your lying..who were you meant to shoot,no one brings a gun to a wedding for no reason"

"no one"

"tell me the truth jade..now" my voice became deeper that it even shocked me.

"fine.. Amanda"

"why"

"well Maisie i hate her. she has not only ruined my family but her and her dumbass family turned my amazing brother into a killer"

"im confused"

"amanda sister dated jay the were engaged but she didn't want to be with him so he killed her and blamed it on ivy brother bryan who was dating amanda at the time but yh he killed himself"

"does that mean i need to kill you since you ruined my sister life..huh"

"why are you being bitter like i get i shot your sister but i didn't mean to so im sorry. i don't know what else to say".

i got up from the ground and dropped the dress.i still refused to look her in the eye,carefully i walked past her acting as if she was a ghost in my presence.
