walking down the hospital corridors felt cold as it gave dark presence when i walked past different rooms of people. theres were ones full of happiness as newly made mothers celebrate the precious life they brought to the earth.

i carried myself to the cafeteria and grabbed 2 coffees. i took a deep breathe before making my way back to the room through the same corridors see all the other people.

"sweetie"

i turned and dropped both the coffees

"omg mom you scared me"

"aww im sorry it's just i feel a bit unsettled so i wanted to talk..so hows eva" her eyes had heavy bags and her voice was raspy. she looked up at me and i felt like a boulder was placed on my shoulders. it was up to me..do i break her eva more that she already is or try lift her spirits.

"im sorry mum" i sniffled back my tears

"bad news is that the bullet is lodged and her body wasn't reacting well with surgery"

"no...no please no"

"good news is that they still managed to remove the bullet and she has a machine support her but yh not for long..im sorry mum"

"why are you saying sorry..baby it's not your fault"

she held my head up and tried to smile but i could see through her broken smile that she had lost a hope as well

"yes it is. this is pay back for helping amanda"

"what are you talking about"

"mum it was me...i helped amanda hide from eva. it was my idea to go ti Emily's"

"why did you do it and what does that have to do with anything"

"i ripped Amanda's invite and wanted her to stay away so i found ivy through amanda contacts and decided to call someone to get ride of her"

i started full on blubbering and my sentences didn't make sense

"now look jade wanted amanda gone but we had different ideas so i don't know whay ivy brought i gun. i thought she could lure amanda away but that didn't work out since jade got involved and ruined everything"

"no..please don't say this. we all make mistakes"

"no mum i killed my sister"

she threw my head into her shoulder and held me closer making sure to keep her grip as if i would fall any second.

"I forgive you baby..this isn't time for us to break apart, we need to stick together"

she got up and got some tissue attempting to clean up the coffee while i sat there drenched in my own tears. My headache got worse.
