A slow pain ran through my body. my vision was blurry as I tried to gather my thoughts. the sounds of birds outside battled against the sound of gentle whispers. the ceiling dance around before i could fully recognise that i was in a small room.
"check her pressure"
carefully someone lifted my arm up and i tried to fight it off but i was too weak. after a long while things started to make sense again. the doctor help me sit up and i fought to keep my body weight up myself but i fell back on the bed.
"hello Eva..i'm the doctor and you were in a coma for a while but luckliy you have made through..well done"
"what happened" i mummbled
"you were shot but don't worry when you're ready the police will question you to help catch the despicable person who did this"
"Omg is jay okay"
"yes of course he is safe"
"what about Maisie and jade"
"yep they were fine"
"Amanda?"
"right now you need to worry about you"
"just please is Amanda good"
he looked at me and attempted to lay me back in bed safely
"i said how is Amanda" i started raising my voice
"she is alright"
i didn't believe him but i wasn't feeling good so i lied back down trying to gain back my breathe
"we will contact your family and friends just as soon as you have had your rest okay" i nodded and he left the room so that i could rest.
1 hour later:
i was suddenly woken up by random noises. when i look around the window was open, i swear it was locked before i was asleep. maybe the nurse opened it to let some air in. that when the shadow pasted me and out the corner stood a tall figure.
"hello who is that..can i help you" i tried to get up but i couldn't
"shh..don't speak your going to make this harder than it already is."
"what's going on?"
"nothing just lay back and relax" i watched as they walked over to the machinery. i carefully pushed the button for help and i laid there anxiously waiting for someone to help me
"who are you" i was keeping her distracted
"i'm a old friend of jay..i was at your wedding"
i gasped as a started remembering. "it was you....you..you started this"
she pulled out a needle and injected it into my tube, with all my strength i fought but i failed after the injection she started pulling plugs to reduce my chance of survival
"i have to go...say hey to Bryan for me when you see him. i'm sorry for how this had to turn out"
she crawled back out the window like a thieve in the night, she left me fighting for my life. The staff rushed in and started fixing the plugs and removing my tubes.
I couldn't breath, it felt as if someone was choking me. My heart was racing i reached out in hope of someone saving me but no one could. A choked cry for help forced itself up my throat, and I felt a drop run down my cheek. It seemed as if this was the end for me so i uttered my last words
"tell jay that i love him and that Maisie meant the world to me, Amanda was my best friend and that i hope the best for all of them. thank you to my mum and...."
"its too late she is gone...." cried the nurse
