I am not scared of heights.
That fact was established from a young age. Ever since I was a little annoying kid in pigtails and an underbite, I always wanted to get high. No, I don't mean doing drugs. I meant being up high, somewhere I can see everything from a vantage point, so that for once in my life, my tiny body can be above all the rest.
Climb the tallest trees. Climb up the poles of the swing till my mom freaks out. Climb and stand on top of the climbing frame so I'm on the metal railings and not the ropes. Stand at the top of a 100-story building and hitting the glass really hard and freak out everyone. Willingly zip line over a raging river by myself at the tender age of six. I was always that kid.
However, when one of my closest friends decides that in order to hone my abilities to levitate myself, I should fight on a suspended bridge that was 50 meters above the ground with no safety harness whatsoever, I faltered.
Daredevil or not, I'm still quite self-preserving. I'd rather you sacrifice yourself to save everyone than to selflessly replace the sacrificer in order to save their life. I might not have the greatest life in the world, but it ain't the shïttiest. I'd like to live long enough to get a high paying job, maybe earn some awards, then die in a very Roblox-way.

Yeah, not the greatest way to go out. I'd like to go out with a bang.
So now I was standing on a suspended bridge, with Rubes by my side, Camellia fluttering around as a raven, Lottie and Alyssa on their phones, and surprisingly Alicia. I hadn't expected her here. Rubes clapped her hands for our attention, and we gathered in front of her. "Okay, kids here's the deal. We're here to teach Jadie how to fly."
"She can fly?" Alicia said, before crossing her arms. "Not fair. I want to fly."
"You can fly. If you weaken the gravity around you, you could fly without falling back down." I said, cracking my neck. "Some might say it's even easier for you because you're manipulating the gravity around you, not acting on you."
"Flying is easy!" Camellia said before she stepped off the bridge, resulting in a shriek from Lottie. "Is it safe for her to be here?" She said cautiously, as she hovered next to the bridge, a light avatar of a raven glowing around her as she stayed in human form.
"That's why I'm here." Alyssa waved from the side. "If we all end up crashing and dying, I can go back in time and tell everyone that's going to happen. Or, stop time and get Jadie and Cam to save everyone. I'm your back-up."
"In case of emergency, call Alyssa," I said in an advertiser's voice, resulting in a dirty glance from Lyss. "What?"
"Alicia is here to keep the center of gravity this bridge, so hopefully, as long as she maintains control, the ground will be this bridge and not the actual ground." Ruby continued explaining. "So if we walked off this bridge, we would technically only end up walking on the edge of it."
"That's trippy."
"That's not just trippy, that's creeeepy."
"Let's have a test subject, shall we?" I shoved Charlotte of the bridge, and she screamed, accidentally shattering a couple of windows. Alyssa glowed gold, and suddenly, the windows were fixed and Lottie had duct tape over her mouth. But now, Lottie was also standing horizontally on the edge of the bridge, her eyes wide with fear as she stared straight at the ground.
"Mmm mmm mmmmmmm! Mmm mm mmmm!" Her muffled voice struggled to get through her new duct tape gag, and as she fruitlessly tried to peel it off, she yelped as a couple strands of her hair were ripped off. "Mmmm! Mmm mmmmm!"
