"Jade, powers training already started. We're all waiting for you- what the fück are you doing?" Lily had walked into the training room, where I was twisting around on a piece of silk, and I twisted, allowing myself to be facing her, forgetting one simple fact: I was still upside down.

I sighed, twisting one wrist around the silk and lifted, carrying my weight with that single hand as I entangled my legs, and I flipped, landing gracefully in a sitting position on the once-silk-now-hammock. "Sorry, I was busy. What did you say?"

"What the fück are you doing?"

"Aerial yoga is what my mom used to call it, but for me, this is aerial acrobatics and fighting," I said, standing on the hammock, grabbing even higher up and hooking both wrists to the silk and lifted my legs, before twisting my entire body for a kick. Without the force of gravity holding me back now that I was not on the floor, the movement was more swift without the fear of me slamming on the floor.

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

"It looks more like dancing."

"Well, it's been quite a while since I've danced. I used to love it, surprise, surprise." I kicked out my pointed toes, swiftly flipping so that I was upside down, and hooked my two feet with the silk. Freeing my hands, I bent my waist so that I could hug my legs, before opening my legs, pulling my body with my core as I opened up, before sitting in a split position. Bending my right leg so that it curled around the silk, I spun my body so that my waist was also wrapped in the silk, and I freed my feet.

Exhaling slowly, I took a deep breath, and let go of my hand.

I spun down to the floor, and just as I reached the end of the silk hammock, I grabbed out with both my hands and the spinning downwards motion became a pendulum motion, and I spun in a circle, tensing my legs so that I stayed in the flagpole position.

Lily watched from the side, both amused and slightly scared. "How are you not dizzy?"

"Aren't you guys the crazy assassins? This is just spinning. You guys can do crazy flips over cliffs and be fine, but you find the fact I can spin down on a piece of silk confusing?"

"Oh shut up." Lily sighed, before crossing her arms. "You have to get to the training rooms. The sessions already started."

"I thought completing the exams meant no more lessons?"

"This isn't a lesson, it's a practice session where you can pit yourself against your classmates and see who can keep up their abilities for the longest time."

"Good use of your words. You know I can never resist a challenge." I smiled at her.

She scowled. "I am your superior, subject X-20. And you will listen to me."

"Oui, madame," I replied sarcastically, landed lightly on the floor with the balls of my feet. "Where to?"

"Come on," she beckoned, and I followed obediently, flicking my wrist and collecting my belongings, and as the small pile followed me like a cloud, I shrugged on a t-shirt on top of my tank top. Didn't need any boys ogling my lack of sleeves.

As I entered the room, I realized that my entire class, albeit me and Lia, were already there, and Abby looked up at me, the late arrival, and gave an unimpressed huff. Rubes let out a disappointed but expected sigh, and gave me a familiar look.

I sat on the floor next to her as the 'leading' Amethyst member Theodora began to speak. "I know, I know, why the fück is there another session. Well, this is to see your endurance and how long you can keep up your abilities. I'll be reading out a list of your names, and what activity you will be doing. Understood?"
