Chapter 14: Enemies

Aviera's POV

I looked at Orette's friends while I'm inside of her body.

Tss.

Papunta kami ngayon sa bahay 'kuno' na hinanda na ni Leigh.

"Malayo pa ba?" tanong 'nung Scanium 'ata. Maybe I should call her Scane like they do?

"A-ahh, malayo pa ba?" Orette whispered to Leigh. She just nodded.

"Malayo pa," sagot ko. They all looked shock because of my cold voice. Huminto pa sila sa paglalakad. Am I really that cold?

"Why?" I looked at uhh... Who is this again?

"Who is he?" I asked Orette. "Burn, pero malamig din," she answered while giggling.

"Hmm?" I asked. "Why is your voice so cold?" I arched my left eyebrow.

"Nothing," I answered. Mukha namang ginaw na ginaw 'yung mga kasama nila. 

"Y-Yera, ako na kakausap," Orette said. "Don't you want me to talk to them?" I asked, irritated.

"H-hindi naman. Sige na nga, kausapin mo na."

"Nothing? Tss." That was Burn.

"Mm." I coldly responsed.

"Really?" I looked at him with my infamous poker face. "Mm."

"I don't believe you," he said. "Then don't," pabalik kong sabi.

"Are you Orette?" This time, kumunot na ang noo ko.

"Mukha bang hindi?" Mas lalong lumamig ang boses ko.

"Don't answer my question with a question."

"Then don't ask."

"But I want to."

"Tss."

"Answer my question."

"Why?"

"Because I asked."

"I don't care."

"But I do."

"I still don't."

"Just answer it."

Hindi na ako sumagot. Napapagod na akong magsalita. Tss. Looks like no one wants to interrupt our conversation, huh? Mukhang takot sila, maliban doon sa... Kyle and... Kali, I guess? Well, they're the leaders so there's nothing to be afraid of.

"Ahh, tara na!" biglang sabat ni Orette. Mukha namang nagtaka sila sa biglaang pagbabago ng mood ko-- Which is not actually my mood because it's Orette's. Tsk.

"O-Orette?" nawiwirduhang tawag 'nung Quade sa kanya. "Yes?" masiglang tanong ni Orette.

"W-wala." Nakatingin ang lahat sa amin. Sa katawang parehas naming possessed.

I ignored everything and continued to walk.

Tss.

Kyle's POV

I looked at her. She's really mysterious. Everyone is looking at her intently and wandering what did just happened. Can't blame them.

"Nandito na tayo!" Orrete exclaimed.

Pinagmasdan ko ang buong bahay. Nasa labas siya ng gubat pero walang ibang bahay na nakatayo sa malawak na lupa. She is the only one who lives here. 

Hindi naman 'to maliit but hindi rin malaki. Gawa 'to sa blocks. Parang katulad din ng mga bahay sa Greyzer City. Black and White ang pintura pati na rin ang ibang designs.
