Sometimes I wonder why things ended the way they did.
Sometimes I wonder why things were left unsaid.
Sometimes I wonder why you never called.
Sometimes I wonder was it all my fault.
Sometimes I wonder why you didn't appreciate my worth.
I'm the girl who grew up in the church and wearing skirts.
The one that was unapproachable and never said much.
The one who has the natural beauty and curves like wow.
A mind so brilliant and a smile that melts all the haters.
Yeah I made mistakes and I'm not perfect.
But one thing I know for sure is that I'm worth it.
I wonder why you couldn't see that.
I wonder why you carried things out just to leave me wondering in the end.
Now I've truly learned my lesson.
I will no longer continue to block my blessings.
Nothing but self love now.
Because when you let that hurt go it's amazing how fast you can move on.
You held me back from who I was meant to be.
Now I see her and she's changing the old me.
Now I'm able to grow and learn more.
I love myself and will always be great.
Because I no longer have to wonder about who I am.
