A/N: I didn't know what else to name the chapter, so I named it of when it is. The above picture is what I imagine Erin to look like.

ONE YEAR LATER (ERIN'S 3rd YEAR AT HOGWARTS)

Erin's POV

'Hey, Ezza!' Lee said, relieved, when he saw me. 'I've just been looking for you.'

'Well, here I am.' I grinned.

'You want to come sit with me, Fred and George?' He suggested, as the train started moving.

I hesitated. 'I'm not sure... How do they feel about me?'

'They'll tolerate you as long as we're friends.' He said firmly. 'Come on Erin, please??'

'Fine.' I sighed. 'I'm such a pushover.'

'Nah, I'm just persuasive.' He chuckled.

'Dream on.'

We moved down the train, til we reached the compartment Fred and George were in. I smiled tentatively when they looked up. They just nodded once, unsmiling.

'Guys, is it alright if Erin sits with us?' Lee asked.

'I suppose it is.' Fred (or George?) said after a long pause.

'Thanks.' I said quietly, as me and Lee sat opposite them.

'Why aren't you sitting with your Slytherin friends?' One of the twins asked, raising an eyebrow.

'George!' Lee frowned. Ah right, George was the one on the left.

'What, I'm just asking a simple question!' George shrugged. 'She doesn't have to answer if she doesn't want to.'

'No, it's fine.' I said quickly. 'They can survive a train journey without me; I don't have to sit with them all the time. Besides, Lee wanted my company.'

'Fair enough.' Fred nodded. 'What did you say your name was again?'

'Erin Brooks.' Using my new name still felt weird to me.

'Oh of course, you're the one Lee's constantly talking about!' Fred said, with a grin directed at Lee, who scowled.

I didn't know what to say to this, so I just nodded.

'So Erin, how was your summer?' Lee asked, ignoring the twins completely.

'Fine, I suppose.' I shrugged. 'Bit boring though, with only my mum and cat for company, and my dad was working all summer.' Lies.

'What does your dad do? Who is he?' George asked.

Oh crap. I didn't know how to answer, because for some weird reason, I thought they'd somehow find out he was in Azkaban. 'Erm... He works in a shop. His name's.. Thomas Roberts.' I lied. 'Why?'

Luckily he didn't notice the slight pauses. 'Just wondering. So if your dad works in a shop, are your family not that rich then?'

'Not really.' I replied, telling another lie in less than a minute. In truth, my family was really wealthy. But it wasn't something I was going to go around shouting about.

'Right. When you've stopped questioning Erin, you'll let me talk to her!' Lee said. He turned back to me. 'I've had an idea. You want me to visit you over the summer?'

'Erm, sure.' I nodded. I really hoped he would forget about that.

'But in the meantime, do you want to hang out tomorrow?' He asked.

'Yeah, okay.' I agreed more genuinely this time.

'Would you two like to join us?' Lee suggested to the twins.

'Us? No thanks.' Fred said. He didn't look at me, but I still took it personally.

Lee saw my face and said quickly 'Oh, come on, why not? Is it because of Erin? Because she's not like the other Slytherins.'

'Yeah, and I've been voted as the next Minister for magic.' George muttered sarcastically to George, but I still heard it.

'Guys-' Lee said angrily, but I stood up.

'No, it's fine Lee.' I shook my head. 'I don't mind. I can see when I'm not wanted and I respect that.' Then I left the compartment, and went looking for my friends. I heard Lee call after me but I ignored him. I wasn't in the mood anymore.

I eventually found them, sat together laughing, and I joined them.

'Ezza!' Tristan hugged me. 'Where the hell have you been?'

'With Lee Jordan.' I explained what happened with him, Fred and George, and they weren't impressed.

'Don't worry Ezza, you don't need to be friends with blood traitors like them.' Becka scowled. 'We've got your back, don't worry.'

'Thanks guys.' I said gratefully, though I wasn't happy that they were talking about Lee too.

We played a few games of exploding snap for a while and got some food when the trolley lady came by. Then when it started to get dark, we put our robes on, and got our luggage.

As we got off the train though, I saw Lee Jordan come over. 'Ezza-'

'Get lost.' Casey snapped. 'She doesn't want to talk to you. And I'm sure she doesn't want blood traitors like you calling her Ezza. Only her real friends are allowed to call her that.'

'Come on.' Rosanna linked her arm with mine, leading us away from Lee. I gave him a quick apologetic look as we walked away.

God, I hoped Dumbledore would be quick with his speech. I was starving.
