Big Brother Matt
Your brother as always looked out for you. Making sure you were safe. When you brought a guy home he played 100 questions with him and ended up scaring him off. So when you started taking an interest in one of his teammates you didn't say a word to anyone. You knew you never had a chance especially if he was Matt's teammate.
You were on your way to a party Matt was throwing at his house. You kept telling him you didn't want to go because you knew Mitch was going to be there. You didn't want to do anything stupid in front of him. So no drinks no shots.
Being an hour late was on purpose. On the way to Matt's house, he kept texting you asking where you were at. You never answered him because you were on your way and there was no point.
"Matt is going to kill you." You jumped and turned around and saw that is was Sydney.
"And why is that? I am here aren't I?"
"Yes that is true but he's been worried because you haven't picked up your phone."
"I didn't want to come in the first place, Syd."
"Why? Because a certain someone is here?" You looked at her confused.
"What are you talking about?"
"Oh come on Y/N I have seen the way you look at Mitch. Every time Matt starts talking about him you start listening to whatever he's saying."
"And here I thought I was hiding it well."
"Well if it makes you feel any better Matt hasn't noticed."
"Not really because what if Mitch has noticed?"
"Are you really asking that question? This is Mitch Marner we are talking about."

Mitch had always liked you ever since he first meets you. He knew you were off limits but he couldn't deny his feelings for you. He wanted to have a chance but with Matt being your older brother be kept his distance but he wanted to try. Mitch wanted to talk to Matt before he talked to you. He didn't want to go behind Matt's back.
"Mitchy what's up man?" Matt walked up to Mitch.
"Nothing much could we talk for a minute?" Matt saw how serious Mitch was. Matt nodded his head and walked outside where no one is.
"What's going on?"
"I am just going to come out and say it. I like your sister. I have been trying not to but every time I see her I forget what I was going to say. I can't stop thinking about her and-" Matt stopped Mitch.
"You should ask her out."
"Wait what?"
"Don't hurt her. If you are serious about this then ask her out. I trust you, Mitch."
"You aren't just pulling my leg are you?"
"No."
"I don't even know if she likes me. What if I ask her and she just laughs in my face because she doesn't feel the same way."
"That's why you take a chance and ask her. Let's go see his she's here yet."
"Wait I can't ask her now."
"And why not?"
"Because I don't know what to say."
"Your Mitch Marner wing it."

"Well look who decided to show up." You looked up and saw Matt and Mitch standing.
"I had to do something before coming." You were hoping he couldn't tell you were lying.
"Well, your here now that's all that matters. Sydney could you help me in the kitchen for a minute?"
"What do you need help with?" You could tell something was up with Matt.
"Babe can you just come with me?" Matt took Sydney by the hand and led her away.
You got up and were about to walk away when Mitch grabs your arm gently.
"Y/N can we talk for a minute?" How could you say no to Mitch?
"Yeah sure." You sat back down where you where and Mitch sat down next to you.
"I am just going to get right to get because otherwise I might get off topic and chicken out." Mitch took a deep breath. You saw how nervous he was. "Will you go out on a date with me?" You stared at him for a minute. You couldn't believe what he said. Was this a prank?
"Did Matt tell you to do this?"
"What? No! Look Y/N I have liked you since the first day I meet you. I never said anything because I didn't think Matt would approve but I took a chance and asked Matt."
"And he was okay with it?"
"Yes told me not to hurt you to be careful the usually speech big brothers give."
"I would love to go on a date with you Mitch."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Perfect what about tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow is great." You smiled at him.
You both decided to go into the kitchen to look for Matt and Sydney.
"So I am guessing by the looks of it you guys are going to go on a date?" Sydney asked you both.
"Yes." both of you said at the same time.
"Okay, I want her back by 10 no later and no funny business."
"Really Matt? You won't even know what time I get home because we don't live together. I couldn't come home and you wouldn't know."
"Are you implying that when you go out with Mitch you aren't going to go home after?"
"No that is not what I am saying. Matt, I love you, you know that but I am not a little girl anymore I don't bring home the wrong guys anymore I am grown up and can look out for myself."
"I know that but I am still your big brother and I will always look out for you no matter what." Matt came over to you and hugged you.
You couldn't wait for your date tomorrow with Mitch. You were exacted for what the future holds.
