I had a routine I did every day and I stuck to that as much as I could. Some days something came up and had to get off track a little. Today is one of those days that it got off track and now I am in downtown Toronto walking to the closest Tim Hortons because my car got a flat tire and I have to wait for my brother to come to help me because I never learn how to change a tire. I never that I had to I didn't see the point.
I wasn't going to sit in my car for who knows how long waiting for my brother so that's why I am walking to Tim Hortons to get something coffee and a bit to eat.
I have been sitting at a table in the corner for about an hour now just scrolling with every app I have drinking my second cup of coffee and slowly eating my muffin. I noticed at the corner of my eye I saw someone walking my way I didn't really think anything of it because there is a lot of empty table around me but I saw that they walked by all those tables and was now standing next to my table. I looked up at the person I saw his beautiful blue eyes.
"Hi." I was the first one to speak. I don't know why because he was the one to come up to my table but he wasn't saying anything.
"May I sit?" He points at the chair across from me. I noticed his accent first I couldn't pinpoint where he was from.
"Umm yeah sure." I was confused on to way he wanted to sit at my table when there were other tables he could sit at.
"So I know this is a little weird and I am a little nervous right." I could tell he was nervous. I noticed his leg was shaking. It was kinda cute. He was kinda cute.
"How about to make you a little less nervous you tell me your name." I smile at him and when he smiles it made my heart skip a beat.
"William."
"It's nice to meet you, William, I'm Y/N."
"That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." I laugh.
"That line is overused."
"But its perfect for you so if it's overused then oh well." He shrugs his shoulders and leans back in the chair.
"Okay so I'm not trying to be rude here William but there are a ton of tables you could have sat at why mine?" Once I said that he looked nervous again. He moved up closer and crossed his arms on top of the table.
"Alright so my friends and I have been here for about thirty minutes and I advent been able to take my eyes off you and my friends told me I should come off here and get your number." I looked around and saw a couple guys at table two of them looking over her but looked away when I saw them.
"You haven't been able to take your eyes off me?"
"Yeah like I said your a beautiful girl Y/N." I smiled and looked down at my lap and back up at him.
"And if I give you mine number are you going to use it? Or are you one of those guys that just collect random girls numbers."
"I will most definitely use the number. I'm not like that." For some reason, I believed him.
"Okay, but if you're getting my number I'm getting your number so if you don't call I will be calling you and telling you that you are one of those guys." The smile on his face got bigger.
We both pull out our phones and give each other our numbers. Right when I hit save I got a text from my brother that he is outside waiting for me.
"Well I am sorry but I'm going to have to cut this short. My brother is here to pick me up." I grab all my things and stand up. When I look at William I see that he was now standing.
