Meet the Parents
"Babe, you all are in the same town why not meet them while they are here?" Matthew has been trying to get me to meet his parents for a little while now but I just wasn't ready to meet them. We started dating six months ago and things were going great there was no reason that I shouldn't meet his parents but I was nervous and afraid they wouldn't like me and tell Matthew and then he would end things with me and I cared about him a lot and didn't want to lose him.
"Why can't we wait?"
"Why would we? Everyone is in the same place there is no reason that you shouldn't want to meet them Y/N. Is there something that you want to tell me? Why don't you want to meet my parents?" before I could say anything there was a knock at the door. Matthew goes up to answer is. I crossed my figures that it wasn't his parents. "It's Brady. Are you okay with seeing him or do you want to go hind and not meet him too?" I could tell he was mad.
"I've meet Brady before."
"I know which makes me confused on why you won't meet my parents," Matthews said before opening the door.
"Hey, are you ready to go?" Matthew and Brady were going out with some friends tonight to get dinner and catch up. "Y/N its good to see you." Brady came over and gave me a hug.
"Its good to see you too Brady."
"Let's go before we're late," Matthew said while grabbing his wallet and phone and walking to the door. Brady walked out the door with Matthew right behind him.
"Bro, you aren't going to say goodbye to your girlfriend?" Brady turned to look at Matthew. He turned around walked over to me gave a kiss on the cheek.
"I'll be back later." and with that, he walked out the door with his brother.
I am such a bad girlfriend. If I was Matthew I would break up with me. I should have no problem with meeting his parents.
Knock Knock
The knock at the door made me jump a bit. Matthew and Brady just left maybe he forgot his key or something. I open the door and see one of my best friend standing there.
"Get your purse and let's go."
"Hello to you too."
"Hey now let's go."
"Why are you in such a rush? Where are we going?" I grabbed my purse and shoes and walked out the door following Sarah.
"They are huge sales going on at the mall and I need a shopping buddy. It's boring shopping alone you know that." I laughed Sarah is a shopaholic.

"Y/N you have been quite whats on your mind?"
"Matthew wants me to meet his meets," I said while looking at a rack of clothes.
"What is wrong with that? You should be happy that he wants you to meet his parents. Remember when I was ready to meet my ex-boyfriend Sean's parents and he didn't want me to meet them because he didn't really see a future with me?" I nodded my head "Well you should be happy that he wants you to meet his parents. So whats the problem?"
"I'm nervous about meeting them. What if they don't like me or they hate me and they want Matthew to be with someone else someone better."
"Honey Matthew can't find anyone better than you."
Sarah dropped the subject and went to go try some clothes on. I didn't really find anything in the last couple stores and or just glanced at the racks of clothes. I was at the front of the store be the windows and looked up and saw two people I wasn't really expecting see. I don't know what I am supposed to do. My hands start to shake. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I jump at least ten feet high.
