Injured
Once I saw William get hit into the glass my heart dropped. When he didn't get up after it felt like I couldn't breathe.
Molly and Sydney went down to the locker room to see William but they wouldn't let us go through. They wouldn't even tell us if he was okay. I started to panic.
"What if its bad? What is going to happen? Is he going to be able to play hockey anymore? Is he going-" Molly cut me off.
"Hey stop all that! I am sure he is going to be fine. The game just ended I'm sure one of the guys will come out and tell us what is going on." Just as she said that Morgan came out.
"Morgan they won't let me see him or even tell me how he is doing." I walked up to him. Morgan has always been like a big brother to me. I grow up with 2 older sisters and a younger sister. I always wanted a brother but I needed up with a whole team of brothers.
"He is doing okay. He broke his leg so they are helping him right now." I felt tears start to form in my eyes and I tried my best to make sure they didn't go down my face but they had a mind of their own and just started coming.
"Y/N he is going to be fine. He's just going to be out for the rest of the season. Good news is that you will have him all to yourself like you wanted."
"Sydney I wanted him all to myself for the reason I'm not going to say out loud with Morgan here. He is not going to be able to do any of that."
"Really?" Morgan asked
"Hey I have needs and my needs are going to be put on hold till William is recovered."
"Who's needs are going to be put on hold?" I turned to the down Morgan came out of and saw Mitch walk out with Auston he was pushing William in a wheelchair.
"Before you say anything it's not as bad as it looks." I William said while looking at me.
"Not as bad as it looks? Willy, you have a broken leg and your saying it's not as bad as it looks are you kidding me?"
"Babe can we just go home. They said I need to rest." I sighed and nodded my head and Auston started pushing him down the hall to the parking lot.

One week later
"Y/N I can't reach the TV remote could you get it for me?" I heard William call out for me from the living room.
Its been one week since he broke his leg and even if he says otherwise I can tell he is in a lot of pain. I hate seeing him like this. I think he misses playing with the boys which is why I invited them to come over and hang out with William to make him feel better.
I walked into the living room and saw William with his leg up on some pillows and him trying to reach the remote.
"You are going to fall if you lean over anymore." I stood there with my arms crossed looking at him.
"Babe can you just get that for me." He leaned back in his seat and looked at me. Before reaching for the remote the doorbell rang. "Are you expecting anyone?"
"Yes, we are," I said with a bright smile.
I went to open the door and saw a bunch of the Maple Leafs standing there with their girlfriends/wives.
"Who's at the door?" I heard William call out. I stepped aside for them all to come in and walked into the living room again.
"I thought it would be nice for the guys to come over and hang out." William turned around a might to see who I was talking about.
"What are all you guys doing?" The smile on William's face was priceless. I haven't seen him smile that much since he broke his leg.
"Well Y/N called and said that you were being a couch potato and we thought we would come and see you and make play some hockey on the X-Box." I smiled as all the guys sat in the living room
The rest of the day was filled with the guys playing hockey and the ladies cooking dinner. Ever now and then I would go see how William was doing and he looked like he was having a great time.
After everyone left I was just finishing cleaning up the kitchen. I heard William come in with his crutches.
"What did I do to deserve you?" I turned to look at him while wiping my hands from the dishes.
"What are you talking about?"
"You have been taking care of me since I got injured and you have just been amazing helping me out whenever I need it and just not me being hurt you are always there for me when I need you. I feel like such a shitty boyfriend because I feel like I'm not there for you."
"Willy you are always there for me when I need it. You just have more things that you need me for such as all your team outings and I'm okay with that."
"Well, I am going to start being there more for you." William started to walk over but I meet him halfway. "I love you Y/N"
"And I love you."
