I sat on the couch with my hands in my lap, tears down my face and all alone. I stood up with trembling knees and made my way up to my bedroom.

"Hey guys, can you, uh, go home? I'm sorry but James just stopped by and kind of dropped a big bomb on me." I tried to chuckle, but a sob came out instead. "I just need to be alone for a little while. I'll text you both later." Beth and Alice picked up their bags and left my room without any questions.

Was James lying to me? Did he love me and just say he didn't? Or was he telling the truth just now?

Of course, Blake had to show up while I cried messily into my pillows.

"Hey," he said. I wiped my eyes and turned to look at him. He stepped into my room and made his way over to my the window seat.

"I'm really not in the mood for 'I told you so'," I told him quietly. He didn't say anything. He knew that I had a whole lot of things I wanted to ask him, but only one thing came out."Was he cheating on me? Do you know?"

I looked at him expectantly, but when I saw him look to his lap and press his lips together, I knew the answer.

When I woke up, I honestly believed that everything that happened yesterday was a bad dream. But when I opened my eyes and saw Blake splayed our uncomfortably on the window seat with soft snores coming out of him, I knew it wasn't.

I forced myself out of bed and made myself grab two towels from the bathroom cabinet and turn the shower on to its hottest setting. When I was finished, my body was rubbed raw and hot to the touch. I wrapped one towel around my hair and the other around my body.

"This is something I could get used to." I jumped at Blake's voice, almost dropping my towel in the process. I tightened my hands on the hem of it and glared at him.

"I'm really not in the mood for you hitting on me right now." I walked into my large closet, shut the door behind me, and changed into a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. I walked back out and found that Blake had left.

I walked downstairs to get some ice cream and I saw Blake's car drive by as I looked out the kitchen window. I opened the freezer and wanted to cry when I realized that there wasn't any ice cream left. I stomped my foot and slammed the door shut, thankful my parents weren't home.

Opening the fridge, I settled on every kind of fruit there was, apples, oranges, strawberries, pineapple, and a container of Cool Whip. I walked back to my room and laid everything out on my bed. I dipped a slice of one fruit into the whipped cream, then a different fruit.

The doorbell rang about half an hour later. After pulling the door open, I saw Blake standing in front of me, holding up two buckets of ice cream. I grabbed the one that looked like it had the most chocolate and left the door open for Blake to walk in.

We walked into the kitchen and I handed him a spoon and then we sat in the living room, watching any show that came up on TV.

"What ever happened with you and Jasmine? One second you're all over her, then you sit with me while I cry until I pass out and bring me ice cream?"

"I can't be all over Jasmine any more because we broke up," Blake said quietly.

"Because she was cheating on you with my boyfriend who was cheating on me with her!"

Blake looked at me, his eyes cold. "Ex. Your ex boyfriend."

My jaw dropped. "Did you really just go there? Seriously? Give me at least a day to wrap my head around the fact that my boyfriend was cheating on me. Oh wait, sorry, my ex boyfriend." My voice was low and icy.
