"Why does everything have to be so difficult, Marlene?" I moan, throwing an arm over my eyes.

"It's not everything that's difficult, Tris. Just boys." She says. Marlene and I are at her house, each of us laying on a couch upstairs. "Hey, did you hear about Tommy Raybach?"

"No, what about him?" I sit up, narrowing my eyes a little. I'd heard all about the Tommy-and-Marlene scandal. But this could be interesting.

"His brother is visiting. And apparently he wants to meet me." She rolls her eyes. Tommy's parents were divorced. His brother lived two states over with his mother and sister, while Tommy was here with his father.

"Is his sister here?" I ask. I hadn't been here when Tommy's parents split, but I'd heard a lot of good things about his sister. 

She nods. "Yep. She's going over Shauna and Lynn's tomorrow. You should come with."

I smile. "Maybe I will."

Jada isn't the only one that shows up at Shauna and Lynn's the next day. Lee and Tommy also make an appearance. This seems to piss off Zeke, Tobias, and Uriah, but Marlene ignores that.

"Jada!" Shauna gives her a hug while sitting down, since she'd need her crutches to walk over and that would be a pretty awkward hug.

"Shauna!" Jada smiles sweetly and hugs her. Jada is basically the opposite of me- tall, darkhaired, and tan, with brown eyes like her brothers. Her makeup is perfectly-done black eyeliner- liquid, obviously- and black mascara, with light red lipstick. She dresses like a YouTuber would, actually.

Tommy winks at Marlene, who rolls her eyes in disgust.

Lee and Uriah do some weird handshake-hug thing. "Hey, man. How's it going?" Lee asks, grinning.

"Alright." Uriah says. "How're you holding up with all of those screaming fans?"

Lee laughs. "Pretty well, actually. I got a girlfriend back home."

"A Viner?"

"Actually, no." He smiles. "Just a regular girl." He pulls out his phone.

Jada smiles at me. "And you must be Tris." She says.

I tug on the hem of my T-shirt. "That would be me." I smile back.

"Are you and Four still dating? Shauna showed me some pictures. You two were adorable."

I shake my head. "No, we're not."

Marlene grins and nudges Jada. "I told you she wouldn't know who you are."

I raise an eyebrow at her. "What?"

Jada giggles and nudges Marlene. "Well, my brother's kind of Vine famous, and I'm kind of YouTube famous."

"Kind of?" Shauna laughs. "Only if having like, 500,000 subscribers counts as kind of."

Jada blushes a little. "It's only 400,000." She mumbles. Then, louder she adds, "And most of them are my boyfriend's friends."

Lee shakes his head. "Liar. Half of them are mine."

She rolls her eyes. "His friends have three million subscribers and they've only posted four videos."

I raise an eyebrow and laugh. "Are you serious?"

"Well, when you have eight million Vine followers..."

"Eight and a half!" Lee corrects. "He has eight and a half! And that would be Tommy's friend, not mine."

I turn to Tommy. "Are you famous too?"

He grins. "Yep. But I only have-"

"Five million." Lee cuts him off.

"Wrong!" Tommy smirks at his brother. "I have 4.9 million. And that's a lot more than your 4.3 million."

My eyes widen, and Jada laughs and wraps an arm around my shoulders. "Guys, stop. You're scaring poor Tris over here."

I shake my head. "Not scared. Just suprised. So what exactly is Vine?"
