"Lynn, what the hell are you doing here?" I say as I squint at my totally-out-of-her-element friend. I work part-time at Delia's, and this store is totally not Lynn's type of store. She's more of a Hot Topic kind of girl, you know?
"Well I came here to get you something for your birthday." She says, crossing her arms over her chest. She might as well be in Justice. That's how out of place this girl is.
Some girls are giving her some weird looks- probably because of her combat boots, studded leather jacket, and many piercings.
"You should of come when I don't have a shift." I say.
She rolls her eyes. "Whatever. I just need to buy you some shit and leave." She raises her eyebrows at my outfit.
"What?" I look down at my clothes. You'd think I was wearing a freaking tutu or something. It's just a pink shirt that says "The earth without art is just eh", dark blue skinny jeans, and brown boots that come up to my knees.
"Nothing." She says.
I roll my eyes.
"So what do you want?" She asks.
I shrug. "Pick something out that you haven't seen me wear." I check my watch. "It's time for my break anyway."
"You're so difficult." She grumbles.
I smile at her. "Love you too, Lynn." I go behind the counter and grab my purse. "I'll be back in ten, Abby." I say to the girl behind the counter.
She looks up and smiles. "No problem, Christina."
I leave the store to go get- as stupid as it sounds- Starbucks. I'm really craving coffee right now.
A/N: Sucky chapter buuuut oh well :)
Comment any bands/singers you would like to make an appearance. I have a feeling that a concert is coming to town...
