I fling myself backwards onto Tris's couch. "Man, this whole thing feels like a dream," I say. "I'm afraid that one day I'm going to wake up and you won't be here but Will and everyone else will be and everything will be back to the way it was before you came here."

Tris drops down next to me. "It feels that way, doesn't it?" She turns to look at me. "I feel like this isn't real."

I let out a sigh. "I can't believe we're going to be so far apart! We're going to FaceTime every day, okay?"

She nods. "Of course. And I'll probably be Skyping Tobias while we do."

I make a face. "As long as there's no stripping and shit, I can handle it."

We both laugh until we're wiping away tears, and even after that we continue to laugh. It wasn't that funny, was it? I guess it was.

She runs a hand through her now-short hair. "Thanks for cutting it, by the way. It looks great."

I smile. "I know.  I'm just glad that you like it. You said 'something different', so that's exactly what I did. I think it suits you better. It looks edgy."

She lets out a soft snort. "Edgy. Funny. That's exactly what Tobias said."

"I'm assuming you two are official again?" She nods. "What about Marlene and Uriah?"

"Nope," She sighs. "But she'll crack soon. He's been taking her out on dates a lot and stuff. Tobias has been helping him...mostly by giving him money for it."

I raise my eyebrows. "Oh, really? Since when does Uriah accept charity?"

"Since he determined that he'd be willing to do anything for Marlene. Tobias asked if he needed help paying any bills or anything since his dad's loaded and shit, and Uriah said that he and Zeke were handling that but he wanted to win Marlene back over."

"That's cute," I say. "Did you hear about Lauren and Lynn?"

She shakes her head. "No. What's with them? Last I heard, they hung out with Michael Clifford last week."

I grin. "They did. Because Michael wanted to meet Lynn's girlfriend."

"They're together!?"

"Hell yeah." I can't stop smiling. "Lauren finally got the confidence to ask her out. They're adorable."

Tris laughs. "Well, we all already knew that they would be." She says.

I nod. "I have to admit, they're the cutest couple out of our entire group."

She nods in agreement. "Definitely. I'm jealous."

I lean back, grinning. "Moving on from gossip. This summer. Did you hear about what we're doing?"

"Is it the Disney Cruise?"

"Yep."

"What ship?"

"The Dream. We're going to the Bahamas and stuff. This took up like, all of my, Lauren, and Shauna's families' Vacation Club points, so y'all better be happy."

Tris laughs. "Are you kidding? How could we not be? It's sort of like our last whatever before we go off to college and into the real world."

I laugh too, though I'm not sure why. "And that, my friend, will make it the best trip yet."

Tris looks over at me and nods in agreement, her eyes sparkling. "Definitely."
