Has anyone drunk texted you?
In the middle of the night when you aren't in the mood?
Well I have,
And here's a sad story for you.
It starts off easy; just a normal conversation,
But when it starts escalating, you're in need of some explanation.
You enjoy the next few hours, staying up to talk to him,
The guy who makes your heart beat, as if you were in a gym.
He confesses his feelings; and talk dirty too,
And you just blush, because you already knew.
They stop replying and you wonder what had happened,
But it's okay, cuz now you're aware of his passion.
You put it off your mind; as you jump back into a blissful night,
Not thinking about what will occur when it turns into daylight.
You wake up to spam texts; from the person the night before,
Apologising about what happen, making your heart fall to the floor.
He said he was drunk, and didn't remember a thing,
But whatever he said after, just made your heart sting.
He felt like he was cheating, on his girlfriend I didn't know of,
All that I know, is just not enough.
'He seems like a totally different person,' I said to myself,
It's like the drunk version of them, is another version of themself.
I've heard people say, that I should appreciate
Cuz they're thinking of you, when they can barely think straight.
However I think otherwise, because my heart has been broken,
But he will never know he did, unless he reads this poem.

A/N: Hey guys! Back at it again with another poem, about me being heartbroken and depressed once again. This is starting to become a trend on this book for some reason. I really need to sort my love life out... Anyways, I really hope you enjoy this despite the lack of context and disappointing rhymes (i'm sorry, I tried hehe) So yeah, see you later lovelies <3
