Lance was useless. It's been proven and pointed out by the team again and again. Today was no exception. Lance had accidentally shot Pidge in the leg and now she's hurt. Lance stared in shock as Keith and Shiro picked the bleeding girl up and took her to the healing pod. They came storming in with Allura who slapped Lance across the face. Lance thought he deserved this. He deserved every punishment, harm, and insult that was given to him. Because he messed up. So Lance did what no one thought would happen. He killed himself. After the slap and lectures he was sent to his room where he sat in silence. He was so alone and the silence covered up the noise in his head. He muttered self degrading words and tears streamed down his face. I'm useless He thought. With that thought came a horrible idea. Perhaps I'll be more useful dead. Lance got up and ran to the training room for once. For once he thought he was going to be of help. For once he felt happy knowing they could find someone better. He ran past Shiro and Keith. He ran past the kitchen and control room. He ran until he was at the Bayard rack. He grabbed his and activated it. He heard his friends voices and panicked footsteps getting closer. He took a deep breath and pointed the gun to his chest. With one last breath he pulled the trigger and dropped dead.
