The Color Blue

Blue.
That is the color of Lance.
Blue.
Every paladin had a color.
Green.
Pidges color.
Black.
Shiros color.
Yellow.
Hunks color.
Red.
Keiths color.
And Blue.
Lances color.
And while you may think blue is his favorite color, you're wrong.
The careless paladin who always wears blue, rides in blue, and has eyes the color Blue, hates the color.
He feels like he's drowning in the color.
He can't balance out the amount of blue with any other color. Even in the brightest, color filled planets. All he feels, sees, and hears is Blue.
Sadness is Blue, right? He always feels blue. Blue, blue, blue.
What if he wanted to get rid of the color. What if he so desperately wanted another color to see, he would sit and draw in red on his skin with a silver pen?
He would be humoured for a while before everything went back to being blue. In that short moment of silence, the moment the color red appeared, he could see everything else. He could hear nothing but he could see the other colors. All standing in his room, staring at him. There was no Blue anywhere. Lance was fine until he realized that he is blue.
That's when he comes to the terrible truth.
He can never escape the color Blue.
So he'll stare blankly at a wall, maybe the floor, maybe the roof. He'd decide that he should just end it. End it all. Escape all the blue. But then he'd understand that that was selfish of him. Others depended on him, they needed him to save the universe.
So Lance would put up with it.
He would deal with all the blue.
Silently is how he would stay strong. He wouldn't tell anyone about his problems.
He'd bear the burden by himself.
It would silently tear his mind apart, slowly.
He never let anyone see through his antics. He wouldn't share the burden with anyone else. He wouldn't drag them down along with him.

Blue.
Lance loved the color Blue.
Why?
Because the color Blue is what helped him make Purple.
Of course the person with the color Red noticed everything.
He helped Lance and forced him to share his burden.
Keith was red.
Lance was blue.
So it was only natural that they made purple.
It's because of Keith that Lance was able to see other colors. Feel other colors.
Blue.
The color that was once Lances problem, is now Lances answer.
Blue.
Blue.
Blue.
Blue.
