It started out simple. A few words left out, a spot taken. But it soon evolved into something bigger and worse.
Lance was cut from conversations, missions, even simple training. The others didn't care if he left dinner early or stepped out of a mission. It only meant easier work to them.
They didn't seem to notice that this had taken a huge toll on the Blue Paladin. They didn't know they had confirmed each and every insecurity that Lance had.

Lance walked into the dining hall, quiet as always. He sat down and slowly nibbled on his food goo.
"Hey Lance?" He only hummed in acknowledgement. "We need you to pilot the Blue lion today." Lance frowned. "Why?" Allura flinched. "B-Because Blue won't listen to me anymore."

Lance clenched his fists. "Why do I have to pilot her?" He asked, tone as cold as ice. "Well you're the old Blue paladin, she'll listen to you." She immediately shut her mouth and Lance froze, blood running cold. "Old Paladin?" He asked quietly. The others didn't answer. He glared up at them. "So I was just a temporary solution?" He hissed. Again, there was no answer.

He stood up. "No!" Shiro blinked. "What do you mean no?" Lance scowled. "I mean no I won't pilot the damn lion." Pidges mouth fell open. "W-Why not? We need you for this." Lance laughed harshly. "Oh now you need me." Their eyes widened. "What-" Keith started. "Oh don't act surprised. I noticed how you slowly cut me off from everything and now I know that you guys didn't want me as a paladin anymore. You know it would've been nice to have a heads up before that happened."

"Lance we didn't-" Lance held a hand up to Hunk. "I don't wanna hear it." He turned and started walking away. "You can't just ignore us!" Allura shouted and Lance whirled to face them. "Oh so it's okay for you guys to ignore me but I can't ignore you?" Pidge stepped forwards. "We weren't trying to-" Lance covered his ears.

"I don't wanna hear it Pidge!" He shouted. "I'm sick and tired of being ignored! I just wanna feel liked for once!" Tears slowly built up but Lance held them back. He wouldn't cry. Crying makes the others upset and then he gets yelled at. "I'm going to my room." He quietly mumbled and walked out. "L-Lance wait!" Keith called but Lance

Ignored him.
