He Loves The Rain

Lance loves the rain. It wasn't like it was a hidden secret. He always talked about it, whether it be a story or just simply saying it.  So when they reached a planet that was always raining, he flat out cried.
Of course he didn't do it until they were out of the castle quickly getting soaked in the cold drops of water. When he was sure they were wet enough, he silently cried.
He let out all the pent up sadness, fear, anger, happiness. He let out everything he had been hiding from the prying eyes of anyone else and no one would know.
Because of the rain.
He wanted to scream and kick and rant but he wouldn't for the fear of disturbing anyone within a 20 mile radius. He would stay quiet and keep the peace.
He would be like the rain. Just soft white noise. He would stay in the background and feel everything but nothing at once. There would be times when thunder and lightning are involved and Lance couldn't let anything out. He simply bottled it up.
But you can't bottle up rain, thunder, and lightning. They are the weather. Rain would just turn to water and the lightning would be gone with the sound of thunder. You have to let it go on and die down.
When he bottled up his emotions no one noticed. At least nobody but Keith.
That's what Lance hated about him. He always figured Lance out, he would talk to him and allow Lance to unleash his thunder and lightning. And while Keith allowed him to show his true emotions, he never cried.
He couldn't, wouldn't, cry in front of Keith. He would not cry in front of anyone for it would show just how weak he actually is.

Lance hated the rain.

He hated how cold it was.

He hated how sad it could be.

He hated the thunder and lightning that came with rain.

He hated how it covered up everything he felt.
