Lance woke to his alarm as usual, everyone had to wake up this early to train, but as he sat up to get out of bed he knew what today was going to be like. He took a deep breath and climbed out of bed, stumbling to get dressed and out the door.
Thoughts plagued him as he trained with the team. It was throwing him off, causing him to miss targets and get hit. He smiled and laughed off the pain even if it still lingered just to reassure the rest of his friends.
By lunch time, all Lance wanted to do was sleep. He didn't want jokes or teasing insults, he wanted sleep. So as the others headed off to the dining area he snuck off. He went back to his room and climbed into his bed, uncaring about his clothing.
He drifted off into sweet slumber but was greeted with a nightmare, resulting in him waking up 30 minutes after falling asleep. He groaned and stared up at the ceiling.
As the previous dream and his thoughts swirled in his head like a storm, he tried to call down.
The room was too empty. He wanted to get up but he had no energy to do so. The room was too dark. He wanted to turn on his light, but it was too far.
The room was too quiet.
As the silence dragged on, he felt the familiar sting in his eyes as they filled with tears. Please, not now! He thought. His body betrayed him and the tears started overflowing. They streamed down his face and he covered his mouth to prevent any sound from escaping.
Lamce hated when he had these bad days. When he thought everything was going well only to be brought down by one single day. He hated how these days can drag on for weeks. He tried so hard to fight them but failed.
He would always end up in this position. On his bed, tears pouring, hand covering his mouth as he silently sobbed.
