Abbie's POV

The phone rang again. "Give it to me, I will talk to them. Jake, comfort the girl for God's sake."

I take the phone and answer it. Before I can say anything a voice laughed, "Did you get my note?"

"Listen up asshole, whatever you're thinking, whatever game you're playing needs to stop. Mess with us again and I will open up a whole can of whoop-ass on you. You hear me?"

The voice laughed harder, "And how do you plan on finding me Miss Roberts?"

"How do you know my name," my expression and voice runs cold.

"I have my ways, now listen to me and listen closely. You and Miss Jenson are not going to poke around Mr. Powell's death case anymore." The voice sent shivers down my spine.

"And what if we do?" I ask coldly.

"I believe three can fit in his grave." The phone went dead. I set it down, and went to find Megan.

When I turn the corner, I find a still distraught Megan laying next to Jake. "Come on Megan, you can sleep over at my place. Jake, do you mind locking the door before you go?" I ask.

He nods and Megan stands up. On the way out I grab her keys. I figure I will just drive her car.

We show up at my place, and we both get out of the car. "Who was on the phone?" Megan asks.

"I don't know," I reply with frustration.

"Come on Abbie, I deserve to know who the person on that phone was as much as you do!" She starts turning red, and knowing Megan, turning red is never a good sign.

"I seriously don't know!" I proclaim. "They used a voice disguiser."

"Well this is just great!" She said sarcastically.

We walk into the building in silence. It was that same deafening silence as the time we were in the car after Drew died.

"Can I get a water?" Megan asks walking through my door.

"Yeah, you know where it's at," I answer. My apartment was a little bit of a mess. I haven't slept in awhile, and when I don't sleep, I don't clean.

"Sorry the apartment isn't clean!" I call to Megan who is in the kitchen.

"I'm used to it!" she calls back.

I shake my head and sit down on the couch to turn on the news. Megan returns with two waters and tosses one to me.

She twists off the cap and takes a sip before returning to our conversation.

"So tell me what it said." Megan begins.

"Basically it told us to stay away from the case, or we would both hit the grave way earlier than I'd wish to." I say simply and Megan sits and thinks over it for a bit.

"What are we gonna do?"

"I can't let this case go, Drew didn't deserve that kind of death, no one does, let's be even quieter about the case and keep our guard up."

She nods and begins to speak again when the news anchor cut her off.

"Breaking news, yet another body has been spotted behind dumpster at popular bar Bottles with no evidence or clear witnesses."

We gasp in unison and Megan clears the silence

"Well here comes round two, and this time we are ready."
