Mine *don't read: being rewritten*

one last author's note hello

hi, guys.

okay, so i just wanted to write this really fast. mainy to say thank you so much, but that isn't all. 

but, thank you. this story has nearly 9k reads, and it started as a dumb fan fiction i wrote for my friends. i never really imagined that anyone other than a few of my friends would read and enjoy my writing so much. like this is absolutely crazy.

um, the sequel is up, for those of you who don't know. it's called "stay" and it's really heartbreaking to write. i'll put the link on the side, or you can just go to my profile and find it there. i made a few changes, but nothing too major, i don't think. the first part is just a little bit of an explanation. 

okay. so, i kind of want to explain why i broke them up. from an author's perspective, not the character's. 

why mess with a relationship as perfect as riley and hunter's is what everyone's asking, right? they were perfect for each other, and clearly love each other much more than thy every imagined they could ever love anyone. but, that's just the thing. all perfect things must come to an end. that's just life really. in this story, it just happened to be a nearly perfect relationship. nothing can last forever. 

but, you know, all things do happen for a reason. and, fate is a factor, along with love. a lot of love. 

i'm pretty sure i thought of another reason while i was in the car, and i thought i had more o explain but it's late so whatever. 

oh yeah also i thought the happy ending would be too cliché and there would be no room for a sequel without it so oops. basically i suck a lot and don't like to see happy endings because that's not life. 

lol i'm awful.
