Ch. 8-
"You left this last night." Courtney says.
Everyone begins to whisper in a hush tone. We must be entertaining them like some sort of reality TV. I roll my eyes and huff, keeping my arms crossed. This is super pathetic. Now people are going to think we are an item, just like how Courtney wants us to be.This is why she brought them all here. I take my time as I stand and toss the jacket lightly back at her. She stares up at me frightened, regretting what she has done. She is probably scared I would ruin her reputation.
"Come. We need to talk in private." I say quietly.
I grab a hold of her pointy elbow and drag her away from the crowd. She whimpers from my firm hold and finally has her arm back when I let go of it.
"Don't handle a lady like that." She stomps her foot and glares at me, "Why couldn't you just take back your jacket?"
"Because you touched it." I say honestly.
She stares at me with her blue eyes and whines, "But that is the jacket you gave me."
"I did not give you anything."
"You gave me a kiss!" She yells, wanting others to hear.
I drag my hand against my face and look down at her. "You kissed me and I pushed you away. But maybe you were too drunk to remember." I say sarcastically.
She sticks out her bottom lip and I continue, "Don't you dare do this ever again because next time I would not spare you any mercy. I promise that you would be embarrassed for the rest of your little highschool life."
I stare at her until she breaks the gaze in defeat. I sigh deeply and walk away towards the classroom door. The first peroid teacher, Mr. Smith, finally comes back and has the door unlocked. As I walk the students stare in curiosity. I ignore them and head straight to my desk.
While I sit, Sky stops near her desk and turns back examining me. I look at how she stares at me, unmoving, with that curious look that all the other students had. But I don't glare at her, like I have done to the others, instead I watch her carefully. She becomes uncomfortable and finally looks away as she quickly sits down, pulling books from her bag.
I groan. Sky sat an earshot away from me. So that means even she thinks that I slept with Courtney, like everyone else.
I feel a large hand slap my back and my wounds start stinging. I grunt and glare at Richard who just came in,"Dude. I didnt know you and Courtney got a thing! I thought you liked that emo girl!" He says excitedly.
"Don't call me 'Dude.' and I do not like or have a 'thing' with any girl, not even Courtney." I say growling at him.
"Liar." He says smirking and laughs.
"Shut up." I say and clench my teeth.
"So when should we meet up for the dumb project?"
"Today. I already started on it."
He grins, "Looks like this project is going to be easy after all."
I roll my eyes, frustrated on how horrible my morning had been. Richard just made it worse. He is such an infuriating person.

Class goes by and lunch starts. I left the classroom late because I have chosen to help my teacher with a few things. My stomach rumbles, begging for food. I speed down the steps, eager to satisfy my hunger. Hearing they sold cookies, I head to the snack stand, wanting to buy some. Within seconds, I'm on the second floor.
