Bad Karma by Axel Thesleff

"Well I've got errands to run, so how about I leave you to your sources and we'll see if I can find you by tonight." Dallas said
"How do I know you aren't just going to leave me alone and I'll never see your face again?" I asked
"I guess you'll find out." Dallas shrugged
"I guess you're right," I sarcastically said, "but like I said earlier, I am very particular about people keeping their word."
"I never said anything about leaving you, I promised to not try and steal your worthless possessions." Dallas corrected
"You obviously didn't think they were worthless when you tried to run off with them." I said as I crossed my arms and gave him a sassy look
"Botton line is you're lucky I agreed to your games, but don't expect anymore favors or me to listen to you." Dallas snapped
"Whatever happened to what you told Buck?" I sarcastically teased, "I'm just a nice lady you're trying to help out since its her first day in Tulsa."
"It ain't your first day anymore and remember what Buck said? If you knew me you'd know I really don't help people to their benefit." Dallas said
"Greedy." I hissed
"Needy." He said as he raised his voice. He gripped the steering wheel tighter, "Look, I need to do some stuff with the guys and if I do end up meeting you somewhere later then consider yourself fucking lucky."
I looked to my side and saw a blue mustang parked in an open field. Not too far away from the car was a group of boys who were struggling to hold a smaller boy down. All the guys were all dressed in madras except for the one being held down, he was in a hooded jacket and jeans. I watched the scene as we drove past it, one of the madras boys pulled a switchblade to the poor kid's neck as his friends held him down. I realized we were slowing down, so I thought Dallas might have spotted the scene as well.
"Is that Ponyboy...?" Dallas mumbled
"What?" I asked as I didn't take my eyes off the scene
Dallas yanked the steering wheel so hard I nearly fell out of the car but he drove through the field and over to the scene. Dallas parked the car and jumped out, I followed him. I got my blade out again and flicked it open, running towards the madras boys.
"You get away from him!" Dallas yelled as we ran closer and closer to them
The madras boys turned and saw us, they hesitsted first but I saw one of them focus their eyes on my blade and they all started to scramble. I ran as fast as I could, jump tackling the nearest one to me. We both fell to the ground but I sprung right back up and held my switch with authority at him, "Leave and don't come back!" I screamed at the near top of my lungs
