Ivy's POV ○●○●
I woke up with blurry vision, confused until I realized only one of my eyes were open. I had to think and remember why, then figured it was probably swollen shut. My eyes adjusted and I realized I was in the Curtis house. This must have been someone's bedroom, because it sure wasn't the couch. I groaned and tried to sit up, until I felt an arm stop me. "Take it easy...you're beat up pretty bad."
I recognized the voice as Sodapop's, I realized Johnny and Ponyboy were also in the room. Johnny announced out the door, "Guys, she's awake!"
Darry, Two-Bit, and Steve came in the room as well; damn I felt sick. My head hurt so bad, my whole body felt dead. At least I think the shock went away, and I wasn't trembling. Everything hurt too bad to make any movements.
"Ivy, we're sorry we left." Johnny spoke
I could talk again too I noticed, which was a plus. "Don't be...I told y'all to run so you didn't end up like me. If you would have stayed and gotten beat by those Socs I would never forgive myself."
"You lost a lot of blood, Ivy...we were afraid you wouldn't wake up and we'd have to take you to the hospital." Two-Bit said
Everything I said came out as a groan, "He sliced my face open and the other socked me in the eye...I bit my cheek too hard and that's why I was spitting blood." I explained, "How long have I been out?"
"Not long, we just got to the house 10 minutes ago." Steve answered
"Dallas called." Darry said
My eyes widened and my heart started pumping faster, he's going to want murder upon those Socs. "You can't tell him I was with Pony and Johnny. Don't even mention anybody, I'll just say I was walking alone."
"He's going to lose his cool if he thinks you were walking alone." Ponyboy said
"But he'll kill you if he finds out you left." I said
"I don't think lying to Dally is a good idea." Darry said
"I'll think of something." I sighed, "How bad's the damage?"
"You're definitely going to have a scar, the cut reaches all the way up from your cheek to the top of your cheekbone." Sodapop answered
