Left Me by Mounika

Ivy's POV
○●○●I took a breath before entering the house that held some of my fondest memories. Its been nearly two years since I've been here; far too long if you ask me. I missed this town, it hasn't changed in the slightest. In all honesty I would have been devastated if I came back to a completely different town. At one point it'll change, but I want to savor what it is now. Perfect in my eyes.
I stepped up the concrete stairs, familiar voices echoed from behind the door. Mickey Mouse was on I thought, that means everyone was there. I opened the door, they were all too busy to notice.
Not much changed, all that did was that they were a year older. Sodapop and Ponyboy got taller, Pony was almost taller than Soda. Steve grew facial hair, and if my eyes didn't decive me Two-Bit still wore his Mickey Mouse muscle tee. Darry looked the same, even down to how he would stand. He really was superman, he stood as if he was about to fly away and save the city.
Sodapop was scrambling to find something, probably his DX shirt. Steve was already wearing his, I assumed they still had the same job. I reminded myself to stop by the DX before I left. Darry was making eggs, Ponyboy was doing last minute homework at the table. I missed this place, it was almost exactly how I left it.
"I see nothing's changed." I commented as I stood in the doorway
All of their heads shot to look at me at the same time, it looked like a cartoon itself. It got so quiet you could hear a pen drop. Sodapop's jaw dropped and he stuttered, "I-I-"
Two-Bit sprinted from the couch and picked me up off the floor into a hug, "Poison! Poison's back!"
All the guys dropped what they were doing and joined in on a standing dog pile. Each one of them more force than the other, I laughed as my lungs got crushed. They must have forgotten I'm fragile, because they shook me around so much I swear I got whiplash. I didn't mind though, I missed these guys.
"You didn't tell us you were visiting!" Sodapop cheered
"I wanted to surprise you guys!" I laughed, "I even brought someone with me."
They all paused for me to continue. I turned around and looked out the front door at my ball of sunshine. His platinum blonde hair glowed in the sunlight as he picked at the grass in the front lawn. "Archie?" I called
He looked up and a smile appeared on his face as he saw me. I giggled, "Come here!"
He climbed the concrete steps, he just learned how to walk a few months ago. I picked him up and turned back to the boys, "Guys, this is Archer. Archer, this is the gang."
